Irrigation systems with solar energy.

Greetings to all my valued followers and readers of this platform, this time I will share with you a technological advance not so new but certainly strengthens support for the eradication of pollution of our planet, it is an installation of irrigation and fertilization driven through solar energy and not with diesel engines that what they do is destroy the environment.

Currently most agricultural producers use diesel engines to drive their irrigation system and thus keep their crops hydrated, this type of engines require constant maintenance which is very expensive, not to mention the high cost of fuel, recently the European company Novagric specialist in irrigation installation made an installation of an irrigation and fertilization system with clean energy, using solar panels.

This important advance undoubtedly strengthens not only the agricultural production of the world, but also contributes to the reduction of CO2 that does so much damage to our planet. According to Javier, a young almond tree farmer in Spain, the implementation of this irrigation system using photovoltaic panels has been one of the best decisions he has made because, although the initial investment is high, its maintenance is very economical compared to his previous system driven by gas oil engines.

Although clean energy generated through solar panels is not new, this implementation in the field is because it requires some special facilities that the company Novagric is responsible for making them, since the electric motors that drive the water and fertilizer through the tracks required for this purpose need a sustained minimum voltage so that the system does not fail. Javier says that so far he has had no problems with this new and innovative system that he has implemented in his production system.

Technology continues to provide solutions to the agricultural field helping to strengthen food security in the world and of course to contribute to the eradication of CO2 that destroys our planet with global warming, hopefully and many producers in the world follow the steps of Javier and decide to migrate to the generation of clean energy through these irrigation and fertilization systems powered by photovoltaic panels that use solar energy.
