Hello Friends,
Here I am Damini coming with my very first vlog on HIVE Community. Hope you will enjoy it.

I went to Mathura for a trip with some of my friend. We enjoyed so much together. In every month we would go on a trip ourselves. I invest from our monthly salary for going and staying.

Mathura

Mathura is a sacred city in Uttar Pradesh, northern India. The deity Lord Krishna is said to have been born on the site of Sri Krishna Janma Bhoomi, a Hindu temple. Dotting the Yamuna River are 25 ghats (flights of steps down to the water), of which Vishram Ghat is considered the holiest. Sati Burj is a 16th-century memorial tower. Dwarkadhish Temple has a carved entrance and a black-marble idol of Lord Krishna.

Jama Masjid, a 17th-century mosque, has 4 slim minarets and ornate, onion-shaped domes. To its south, the red sandstone Government Museum houses religious iconography, ancient Kushana sculptures and local archaeological finds. North of Mathura toward the twin holy town of Vrindavan is Birla Temple, with the sacred Hindu Gita texts inscribed on its walls. Farther north, Sri Krishna-Balaram Mandir, built in 1975, is an immense, ornate Hindu temple dedicated to the worship of Lord Krishna. To the northeast, on a bend in the Yamuna River, steps lead up to Madan Mohan Temple, one of Vrindavan’s oldest structures.

When to Visit

A popular time to visit Mathura is winter (Oct–Mar), when temperatures are cool. Summers (Apr–Jun) are very hot, and lead to the monsoon season (Jul–Sep). Hindu festivals are important in this sacred region, and pilgrims head here for Janmashtami, celebrating the birth of Lord Krishna (Aug/Sep) around Sri Krishna Janma Bhoomi Mandir. The spring festival of Holi (Feb/Mar) is also a joyous event, when locals throw colored powder paint over each other.

So guys hope you will enjoy my video. I also submit this video to #GEMS Community. I love this community so much. Hope the members will support me as always. Thanks for Watching. Stay tuned.
