Hola!! ¿No les ha pasado que van felices en su bicicleta y luego sienten que uno de los cauchos se va quedando sin aire? Es una sensación desalentadora, y fue justo lo que me pasó hoy. El lado bueno es que mientras buscaba las cosas para reparar la fuga de aire se me ocurrió hacer un tutorial para ustedes :D

Have you ever been riding happily on your bike and then you feel that one of the tires is running out of air? It's a discouraging feeling, and that's exactly what happened to me today. On the bright side, while I was looking for the stuff to repair the air leak, I thought I'd make a tutorial for you :D

Lo primero que debemos hacer es sacar la tripa del caucho, para eso debemos sacar las tapas y seguros del gusanillo

The first thing to do is to remove the rubber casing, for that we must remove the caps and latches of the worm.

luego debemos sacar del rin uno de los lados del caucho, para eso yo introduzco la llave o una cuchara en el caucho y hago un poco de palanca de esta manera

then we must remove from the rim one of the sides of the rubber, for that I introduce the key or a spoon in the rubber and do a little leverage in this way

ahí empiezo a usar mi mano para levantar el resto del caucho, ustedes pueden seguir usando la llave o cualquier objeto solido que los ayude

then I start using my hand to lift the rest of the rubber, you can continue to use the key or any solid object to help you.

Una saquemos una parte del caucho sera fácil sacar la tripa de esta forma

Once a part of the rubber is removed, it will be easy to remove the casing in this way.

Ahora debemos encontrar la fuga de aire, vamos a inflar la tripa y buscar de donde sale el aire. yo lo hago a oido como todo musico que se respeta jajajajaja.. busco de donde sale en sonido pppssssssssss.. Otra manera de hacerlo, es metiendo la tripa en un balde con agua y buscar de que parte salen burbujas

Now we must find the air leak, we are going to inflate the belly and look for where the air comes out. I do it by ear like any self-respecting musician hahahahahaha... I look for where it comes out in sound pppssssssssssssssss.... Another way to do it, is to put the belly in a bucket of water and look for bubbles coming out of it.

una vez encuentren la fuga vamos a marcarla para que no se nos pierda

once the leak is found, we will mark it so that it will not get lost.

lo siguiente será lijarlos alrededores, esto lo hacemos para que la pega haga bien su trabajo

The next step is to sand the surrounding area, this is done so that the glue can do its job well.

lo que debemos lijar tiene que ser un poco mas grande que el parche. vamos a medirlo antes de colocar la pega para asegurarnos de que quede bien

what we need to sand has to be a little bigger than the patch. let's measure it before applying the glue to make sure it fits properly.

ahora si, quitamos la cinta del parche y ponemos un poco de pega en la tripa y procedemos a pegar el parche

now we remove the tape from the patch and put some glue on the belly and proceed to glue the patch.

luego de colocar el parche con pega, debemos mantenerlo presionado por un tiempo, 5min aproximadamente, lo que yo hago es que le pongo una pata de un mueble encima y lo dejo ahí

after placing the patch with glue, we must keep it pressed for a while, 5min approximately, what I do is that I put a furniture leg on top of it and leave it there.

Y listo!! pueden volver a colocar la tripa en el caucho, y no tendrá ninguna fuga de aire :D

And that's it!!! you can put the casing back in the rubber, and you won't have any air leakage :D

Cuando andamos en bicicleta debemos tener cuidado por donde pasamos, hay cosas en el terreno que pueden desinflarnos. Si sabemos que el viaje es largo o vemos el riesgo de un desinflarnos en el camino, siempre es bueno llevar un kit de reparación.

When we ride a bicycle we must be careful where we pass, there are things on the ground that can deflate us. If we know that the trip is long or we see the risk of a flat tire on the road, it is always good to carry a repair kit.
