My aunt is here in Peru visiting us this month, she will be leaving again soon and with her she is taking some gifts for the family, I am excited to send my mom some things she asked for, but... My aunt is not leaving without uncovering the trunk of memories, we were looking at some photos and I was impressed with the ones she had saved of me.

Mi tía no se va sin destapar el baúl de los recuerdos, estábamos viendo algunas fotos y me quedé impresionaba con las que ella tenía guardadas de mi.
Hahaha, they are embarrassing photos but it is my past, it is who I once was, the difference is quite big. It should be noted that where we used to live was a very sunny city, we had no change of season, it was always summer, and from May onwards it was the rainy season but the day did not start off gray, it was always sunny and then it was as if the rain fell suddenly, sometimes a couple of minutes, other times it lasted 1 or 2 hours and back in the sun, that's why I was always burned.
Jajaja, son fotos vergonzosas pero es mi pasado, es quien fui alguna vez, la diferencia es bastante grande. Cabe destacar que dónde solíamos vivir era una ciudad muy soleada, no teníamos cambio de estación siempre era verano, y a partir de mayo era la temporada de lluvias pero el dia no empezaba gris, siempre soleado y luego era como si la lluvia cayera de repente, a veces un par de minutos, otra vez duraba 1 o 2 horas y de vuelta al sol, por eso siempre estaba quemada.
I remember many things from my adolescence now that I see the photos, when we already knew that it would rain for a while, they let us go outside to play a little, they didn't let us that much time but it was fun to run in the rain, jump, sing and then come back inside of the house, take a bath, put on clean, warm clothes, sit on your bed and have your mother bring you a cup of hot chocolate. The other day it was raining in this city that almost never rains and I ran out to make myself a cup of hot chocolate, I remembered that my mother used to make it when it rained and accompanied it with a piece of bread.
In the photo where I have the pink dress, I was turning 15, I had decided that I did not want to have a party and that I only wanted a gift from my mother, but my aunt said that we should celebrate so that day I wore a dress, my cousins did my hair and my mom had made my favorite salad, it's a salad she only makes once a year, I remember I was excited to eat the salad. The idea was to give some small appetizers to the guests, I don't remember what I was doing but all the guests came into the kitchen and the whole house in general, lol... But when I tried to go to the kitchen thinking that I might be robbed a little bit of the salad for myself, my surprise was that there was no more, the guests had eaten it all, hahahahaha, that was the only thing that saddened me that day. And in fact, it is because of that event that I do not forget that day.
Recuerdo muchas cosas de mi adolescencia ahora que veo las fotos, cuando ya sabíamos que llovería por un rato, nos dejaban salir afuera a jugar un poco, no nos dejaban tanto rato pero era divertido correr en la lluvia, saltar, cantar y luego regresar adentro de la casa, tomar un baño, ponerse ropa limpia y tibia, sentarte en tu cama y que tu madre te lleve una taza de chocolate caliente. El otro día estaba lloviendo en esta ciudad que casi nunca llueve y salí corriendo a prepararme una taza de chocolate caliente, recordé que mi mamá solía hacerlo cuando llovía y acompañaba con un pan.
En la foto donde tengo el vestido rosa, estaba cumpliendo 15 años, yo había decidido que no quería tener una fiesta y que solo deseaba un obsequio de mi madre, pero mi tía dijo que debíamos celebrar así que ese día me puse un vestido, mis primas me peinaron y mi mamá había hecho mi ensalada favorita, es una ensalada que ella solo hace una vez al año, recuerdo que estaba emocionada por comer la ensalada. La idea era que se diera unos pequeños aperitivos a los invitados, no recuerdo que estaba haciendo pero todos los invitados entraban a la cocina y a toda la casa en general, lol... Pero cuando quise tratar de ir a la cocina pensando que podría robarme un poco de la ensalada para mí sola, mi sorpresa fue que ya no había, los invitados se la habían comido toda, jajajajajajaja, eso fue lo único que me entristeció de ese día. Y de hecho, es por ese acontecimiento que no me olvido de ese día.

You know it is great to have a family member join you especially on holidays or travel. It really fun to have them around believe you get more relief. But it's too bad she is not staying for long
