Yeah I read that the fashion trend was up and down with wooden shoes. They were seen as something that only poor people would wear at one point so nobody wanted to do so and then later on they came back into style because of the tradition of it and "simpler times" and that sort of thing. Fashion always has cycles.

Yeah. They are neat but not the most practical things nowadays. We are quite selective with our souvenir purchases. I wanted to buy a small pair to put plants in and hang on a garden shed outside, but then I didn't buy any. Hahaha
