La araña tejedora / The weaver spider

Tras la silla está la semilla,
es marrón y con cara bonita,
quiere generar ramas chiquitas,
pero mucha agua necesita
y el sol tampoco la abriga.

Behind the chair is the seed,
it's brown and with a pretty face,
it wants to generate small branches,
but it needs a lot of water
and the sun doesn't shelter it either.

Entonces una araña que teje,
a la semilla con cuidado envuelve
hace un capullo de color verde,
para darle un nuevo ambiente
y que nazca una rama fuerte.

Then a weaving spider,
the seed carefully wraps
makes a green cocoon,
to give it a new environment
and a strong branch is born.

La sorpresa llega después,
cuando nace una rama verde también,
la semilla rompe el capullo sin pudor
y sale orgullosa con lo que nació
de su cuerpo marrón.

The surprise comes later,
when a green branch is born too,
the seed unabashedly breaks the cocoon
and emerges proudly with what was born
from its brown body.
