Mi casa está bien decorada,
tengo una gran rama en la ventana,
esta da un ambiente de calma
como si de un bosque se tratara.
Cuando va a entrar algún animal,
esta se mueve y me hace despertar,
yo espanto lo que quiera entrar
así mantengo segura mi hogar.
My house is nicely decorated,
I have a big branch in the window,

Un día entra una nave espacial
y no se mueven las ramas del lugar,
un marciano se baja a descansar
me despierto y frente a mí está.
Le doy el espacio en mi cama,
para que duerma de forma plácida,
yo en la nave espacial hago una cama
y me duermo de manera rápida.
One day a spaceship comes in
and the branches don't move from the place,
a Martian comes down to rest

El marciano temprano se levanta
y en su nave espacial se marcha,
por el afán no se percata,
que yo voy dormido, atrás en una banca.
Y es así como paseo por el universo,
entre estrellas y planetas de colores diversos,
mientras tanto entran a mi aposento,
animales aprovechando mi alejamiento.
The Martian rises early
and in his spaceship he leaves,
he doesn't notice in his eagerness,
that I'm asleep, back on a bench.
