Un lugar para el ají / A place for chili

Un ají picante y rojo,
baja por un delgado tronco
y aunque es un árbol frondoso,
está en una maceta color rojo.

El ají se lanza desde ella
y al piso cae sin delicadeza,
no se quiebra
se levanta y se va de la escena.

A red hot chili bell pepper,
it comes down a slender trunk

Camina por la cocina,
donde una taza visita,
salta dentro de ella, está vacía
y ahí por un rato medita.

El ají es un ser selecto,
se aburre todo el tiempo
y si en la taza no hay sosiego,
se va a buscar un lugar nuevo.

en ella tranquilo se recuesta,
encontró el lugar que buscaba con apetencia.
