Hi friends! I hope your day's going well!
I want to share a story about my dad catching some fish from their own pond.
These days, financial struggles are worsening, and food prices are skyrocketing.
Because of that, I decided to take a practical and resourceful strategy to my family's food needs.
My dad has their own pond, so I asked him if he could catch some fish from it instead of buying from the market.
My dad, always diligent and willing to help, agreed wholeheartedly.
After grabbing the fishing net they kept nearby, he headed to the pond.
With patience and skill, he waded into the water, gently maneuvering the net beneath the surface.
After a few moments of focused effort, he caught a tilapia fish.
Thereafter, he set out again with a steady hand.
One by one, he carefully uses the net to scoop up the fish.
Some of the tilapia were small, wriggling energetically in the net, while others were larger.
My sister and cousin eagerly helped, offering support as my dad worked.
They took turns watching the pond, excited to see each catch.
Slowly but surely, by the time my dad was done, there were seven fish in the basin — a mix of small and big tilapia, lively and healthy.
After the catching was complete, my sister and cousin cleaned the fish.
They took turns helping to remove the scales and guts.
It was a team effort, full of cooperation and a sense of accomplishment.
All because my family worked to gather practically.
Until our next catch...
Thanks for the visit! Have a lovely day. Buh-bye. 👋🥰
