"Ukay-ukay" is a term for old clothes resold into the market. Despite 'ukay-ukay' products being secondhanded, an "ukay-ukay" store (thrift shop) is never the bottom of the fashion commerce. If one chooses excellently what to buy and what to combine, old clothes' elements become integrated carefully to make them look more pleasing and aesthetic together.

Earlier, I went to a thrift shop, bought some products, and came up with two brilliants outfits that I am excited to share with everyone!

In Red

Faster than the wind, passionate as sin, ending so suddenly

Like the colors in autumn, so bright, just before they lose it all

Joke! Red isn't all about romance, but it is also of high-class fashion, especially for autumn! That's what it takes to create this outfit-- a balance of red and all modern aesthetics.

For that very cause, I managed to buy these quality items of: red-and-white-patterned jacket (65 pesos); and long, beige pants (50 pesos). The jacket's brand is Uniqlo with thick cotton, red dye, and white lines. It is large enough that it somehow satisfied my modern aesthetic taste for loose clothes. For the lower part, the long, beige pants somehow reminded me of my khaki uniform at school, but this one was way cheaper and could be useful for more occasions from casual to formal. Its fabric quality is not that bad either because of its thick and tight sewing, and its color is a perfect fit to the modernism palette.

To make this combination complete, I added an underlying white T-shirt and a pair of my white shoes into the outfit. The shoes have a red and straight centerpiece with capitalized and black text printed on it. I bought this pair from a local shoe shop nearby for a price of 120 pesos. Meanwhile, the white T-shirt of mine is what I used to wear in face-to-face classes, so it is the most economically friendly among the products I have.

There you have it-- an autumnal, red outfit!

Kinda Sporty

I'm not really sporty, but you have to be at some point in your life, right?

The jacket with electric palette of violet, blue, and orange (which I bought for 50 pesos) is a perfect match to this grey shorts with neon orange of tie (for 25 pesos). In fact, they are what I all imagine when I converse about sports fashion, and I'm happy to find them at the thrift shop.

Together, these clothes had an eccentric vibe of being electric, modern, and neon. I had to pair the combination with my white shoes and white underlying shirt to make it more noticeable and balanced.

I have to say that these clothes are somehow of my vibe despite me having a less aesthetic personality of a person. Maybe, if I could get more oriented into the art of 'ukay-ukay', I could come up with better combinations.
