Greeting and salutations Hive community!

It has been a long time since the last update and I do apologize. It has just been a super busy time here at The Dollar Vigilante. I have not been very active in the Hive comments for the same reasons but you can always hit me up on Discord, Keybase, Telegram or email.

For Vigilante.tv for the most part we have been squashing bugs and also fighting off some attempts to disrupt the site. You may have noticed stuff like a big white blog on some TDV videos. This was done by injecting code into the comments. This should have been mitigated but we are keeping an eye on it. I guess that it is a good sign when people actively try to kill what you are doing. It means we are ruffling some feathers 🙂

Since the last post we passed 6 million views and a ton of Hive comments. It is nice to see that new Hive users are engaging in the discourse. A lot of great and important content to watch free of government censorship.

I learned that self voting when controlling various accounts is a big no-no. I do apologize for that. You learn something new every day 🙂

Here is some new stuff users can actually see on the site:

A lot more features are in the making so stay tuned. Happy holidays to everyone!

When livestreams?

Am eager to use that feature as well. Rafael is finishing up his new studio, so we might do like a weekly crypto news roundup... :)

please do us all a favor and don't bend the knee to the hive CABAL...
Up voting your own stuff is permitted because the blockchain allows it,
but yes it offends several shitlibs who convinced everyone that they run the place.
Those same people are hypocrites mind you...

Yes, the code allows it.
Just like government laws, some acts are not illegal, but sided to the questions, is it ethical, or moral?

It is the individual who needs to judge for themselves.

That is a good point. "The code allows it". I never thought about it like that!

It is quite the space to navigate. I do want to make the majority of the community happy though :)

I can appreciate the need to make a community happy...
But you're posting and building stuff for ANARCHISTS...
Try to take that into consideration as well.
The "Community" should be made up of all the people YOU BRING HERE.
If you're "Sucking Up" to the community here, then you've lost... because this place was taken over by libtards day one.

I can understand that. I dont think I am sucking up though. Rather open for ideas and critisism :)

Glad to see the videos fixed, I had to watch a couple on bitchute.

The more stake that is held, the larger the influence in the hive.
If we don't like what is happening buying more stake on the dips is about the only recourse excepting abandoning it.
The tech is too good for that.

I agree with FrankB, the audience here is too small to have much impact.
But, if you bring an audience here, the more stake they control the less that is controlled by the current controllers.
More users renders moot a lot of the disagreement.

Stakeholding in hive includes voting the hive power, any unvoted hive power is more money/power to the status quo.
Selfvoting has been seen as greedy since about hf17, before that it was default to selfvote.

With hive inflation running ~7% hive power is a good investment provided it is voted each day.
With the ~3% staking rewards you make 12% on it.
Hive as hbd is even better at 20% for a 3 day locking period.

Ya'll have the resources over there to change the culture here, if you cared to do that.

Yeah, we had a some issue for a while but it is getting better and better!

We have been in the top referrers every week for over a year now, so I think we are doing a good job of getting people on board. We COULD buy some more Hive, but looking at the big downvoter groups we would have to spend maybe millions it seems just to balance it out. We will keep using Hive and sending people here. There is a ton of great people and talking to our users in the comments they seem to dig it!
