Harvesting fruits from our backyard garden

in GEMS4 years ago

Hello Hiveians

My cousin keeps a garden right at the back of their house here in Kaduna state. And guess what our fruits are ripe and ready for consumption.

Instead of keeping an empty space which would not have been productive they decided to plant some fruit an vegetable tress.

Taking care of the garden isn't much of a work when they have considered it to be much of a hobby than an uninteresting work.
Every morning I would watch him smile and wet the plants and fruits.

The benefits of keeping this garden is that one gets to have fresh and healthy fruits as they ripen and vegetables will always be available for our daily need.
Fruits and vegetables contain alot of vitamins and minerals and this is the best way for you to get them fresh all the time, having them close to you.

The farming seasons and market for vegetables change and each time you may desire fresh vegetables for use they may not be readily available at the market depending on the seasons.

Having a garden as this provides our daily need and we plan to add more vegetables like the spinach, water leaf and mangoes.
There is abundance of water supply from the waterboard across the area here which makes it easy to water the backyard garden.

Thank you so much

I love sourshop the last time I had it was my teenage years, my dad would buy and let us have

I ate it once and I guess it stayed true to its name... Am not sure I liked it though 😂
