[ESP-ENG] De vuelta a la Lectura || Back to Reading

Hola a todos! Una de mis mayores aficiones es la lectura, pero este año por diferentes circunstancias la he tenido muy abandonada; a inicio de año me planteé una meta de leer 30 libros y aún no había podido empezarla.

_{Hello everybody! One of my greatest hobbies is reading, but this year due to different circumstances I have had it very neglected; At the beginning of the year, I set a goal of reading 30 books and hadn't been able to start it yet.}

El año pasado fue de mis mejores con la lectura, fui constante y logré incluso rebasar mi meta, es por ello que decidí hace poco retomarlo, porque es una distracción que me encanta y hace falta en mi vida. Así que les hablaré de mis actuales lecturas:

_{Last year was one of my best with reading, I was constant and even managed to exceed my goal, that is why I recently decided to take it up again, because it is a distraction that I love and is missing in my life. So I'll tell you about my current readings:}

Las Diez Mil Puertas de Enero

Comenzaré hablándoles sobre la sinopsis de este libro cuya autora es Alix E. Harlow de la cual no he leído ningún otro libro, siendo mi primer encuentro con su estilo de relatar historias.

_{I will start by talking to you about the synopsis of this book whose author is Alix E. Harlow of which I have not read any other book, being my first encounter with his style of telling stories.}

Esta en particular trata sobre una chica que vive rodeada de maravillosos tesoros gracias a las habilidades de su padre, pero encuentra uno en particular que la lleva a otros Mundos y hace que sus sueños por fin puedan hacerse realidad.

_{This one, in particular, is about a girl who lives surrounded by wonderful treasures thanks to her father's abilities but finds one, in particular, that takes her to other Worlds and makes her dreams finally come true.}

Este libro ha sido una lectura muy entretenida y diferente, son 243 páginas (la versión que tengo) las cuales para agrado de un lector no se sienten pesadas. Lo que llevo de la historia me ha parecido mágico y real, ya que es la ilusión de una chica normal de que exista magia entre nosotros, en específico una que te traslade a otros lugares.

_{This book has been a very entertaining and different read, it is 243 pages (the version I have) which, to the liking of a reader, do not feel heavy. What I have from the story has seemed magical and real to me, since it is the illusion of a normal girl that there is magic between us, specifically one that takes you to other places.}

Little Fires Everywhere

Un poco diferente a la anterior, es este libro de la autora Celeste Ng la cual no conocía tampoco. Es sobre una pequeña ciudad, o lo que conocemos como urbanización, en donde la vida de las personas es muy perfecta, nada malo sucede porque todo es muy planificado; hasta que llega una madre soltera y su hija, con un pasado que al descubrirse alterará la perfección de este lugar.

_{A little different from the previous one, it is this book by the author Celeste Ng which I did not know either. It is about a small city, or what we know as urbanization, where people's lives are very perfect, nothing bad happens because everything is very planned; until a single mother and her daughter arrive, with a past that when discovered will alter the perfection of this place.}

Sí, de eso nos habla la sinopsis, así que por supuesto me llamó la atención, por tratarse de un género totalmente diferente y los misterios siempre son de mi agrado al leer porque te mantienen en la expectativa de qué sucederá.

_{Yes, that's what the synopsis tells us about, so of course it caught my attention because it is a totally different genre and the mysteries are always to my liking when reading because they keep you in the expectation of what will happen.}

Apenas voy por el capítulo 7, por lo cual no tengo una fuerte opinión sobre el libro, la presentación de los personajes me ha gustado, sin embargo no ha sido más que simples diálogos y nada de misterio. Solo espero que no lo dejen todo para el final, ya que sería una lástima leer tantas páginas que se sientan vacías y solo pocas con verdadero interés.

_{I'm just going through chapter 7, so I don't have a strong opinion about the book, I liked the presentation of the characters, however, it was nothing more than simple dialogues and no mystery. I just hope they don't leave it all for last as it would be a shame to read so many pages that feel empty and only a few with real interest.}

Nunca pensé crear un post sobre libros que estoy apenas leyendo, pero hacerlo me sirvió como motivación para continuar en la lectura y lograr completar mis objetivos. De este modo poder compartir qué me interesa de un libro al escoger leerlo y qué puede llegar a decepcionarme.

_{I never thought to create a post about books that I am just reading, but doing so served as motivation to continue reading and achieve my goals. In this way, I can share what interests me in a book by choosing to read it and what can disappoint me.}

Elegir estos libros fue muy difícil, ya que no he encontrado lecturas que me animen realmente y que sean diferentes a lo que acostumbro, es por ello que si tienen alguna recomendación para mí me encantaría conocerla!

_{Choosing these books was very difficult, since I have not found readings that really encourage me and that are different from what I am used to, that is why if you have any recommendations for me I would love to know!}
