[ESP-ENG] RECOMIENDO: Sombra y Hueso || RECOMMEND: Shadow and Bone

Hola hola! Nuevamente vengo a hablar de una muy buena recomendación, en este caso de una serie de la cual esperaba mucho y cumplió todas mis expectativas. Así que si no sabes que ver en estos días, espero te ayude.

En este caso mis expectativas eran muy altas, ya que es la adaptación de uno de mis libros favoritos, así que tenía miedo de que lo arruinaran: pero no fue así, es maravillosa. Cuando lees te imaginas todos los escenarios que la autora relata y verlos hacerse realidad es indescriptible.

_{In this case my expectations were very high, since it is the adaptation of one of my favorite books, so I was afraid that they would ruin it: but it was not like that, it is wonderful. When you read, you imagine all the scenarios that the author relates and seeing them come true is indescribable.}

Sombra y Hueso

Como les comentaba es una serie basada en la trilogía de ese mismo nombre creada por Leigh Bardugo, fue estrenada en Abril de este año en la plataforma Netflix. Consta de 8 capítulos de 45 minutos aproximadamente.

_{As I was telling you, it is a series based on the trilogy of the same name created by Leigh Bardugo, it was released in April of this year on the Netflix platform. It consists of 8 chapters of approximately 45 minutes.}

Es una serie de género fantasía, donde el “país” en el que se desarrolla está gobernada por un rey con su ejército y un General de invocadores (especialistas de la ciencia de la materia) algunos invocan el fuego, otros el aire, pero el líder de ellos invoca las sombras/la oscuridad.

_{It is a series of the fantasy genre, where the "country" in which it takes place is governed by a king with his army and a General of summoners (specialists in the science of matter) some invoke fire, others air, but the leader of them summons the shadows/darkness.}

Hace muchos años, el país fue dividido cuando un invocador creó una valla gigante de oscuridad, a la cual nadie puede atravesar sin morir; la salvación del país, está en encontrar a un invocador de la luz, lo cual sucede cuando descubren a una joven que ahora se convierte en la esperanza de todos.

_{Many years ago, the country was divided when a summoner created a giant fence of darkness, which no one can cross without dying; the salvation of the country is in finding a summoner of light, which happens when they discover a young woman who now becomes the hope of all.}

Lo que más me gustó

La historia, a pesar de ya conocer lo que sucedería en su mayoría, los creadores de la serie decidieron agregar nuevos personajes y tramas que se mezclan con la historia original, lo cual le brindó un “plus” muy bueno para complementar ese mundo tan interesante.

_{The story, despite already knowing what would happen mostly, the creators of the series decided to add new characters and plots that are mixed with the original story, which gave it a very good "plus" to complement that interesting world.}

Es una muy buena adaptación, el trabajo en crear los escenarios es magnífico, en especial los efectos de la Sombra, se ven muy reales al igual que el hermoso Palacio Real. Logras sentirte en otro Mundo, donde un buen complemento son los vestuarios muy bien realizados.

_{It is a very good adaptation, the work in creating the scenarios is magnificent, especially the effects of the Shadow, they look very real as the beautiful Royal Palace. You manage to feel in another world, where a good complement is the very well-made costumes.}

Los actores, creo que nunca me los imaginé de la manera que son físicamente pero su actitud es perfecta, reflejan muy bien los ideales/ características de cada uno de ellos, que hace que te enamores u odies a algunos. De verdad, cada uno tiene un toque que desarrolla la historia y nunca te aburre.

_{The actors, I think I never imagined them the way they are physically but their attitude is perfect, they reflect very well the ideals/characteristics of each of them, which makes you fall in love or hate some. Really, each one has a story-unfolding twist and never bores you.}

Pensamiento Final

Me encantó ver que el género de fantasía revivió con esta serie, sentía que estaba abandonado ya que, lo que suelo encontrar es género drama, policial o de crimen; así que fue un muy buen escape a todo eso.

_{I was delighted to see that the fantasy genre was revived with this series, I felt that it was abandoned since, what I usually find is drama, police, or crime genre; so it was a really good escape from all of that.}

Vale la pena disfrutar de esta historia, que luego de ver el desenlace agradezco saber que Netflix continuará con ella, esperemos que sean las 3 temporadas que den conclusión a la trilogía de Leigh.

_{It is worth enjoying this story, which after seeing the outcome I am grateful to know that Netflix will continue with it, hopefully, it will be the 3 seasons that conclude Leigh's trilogy.}
