Amigos de #hive he estado un poco ausente, pero no ha sido porque he querido. Se me ha presentado una situación de salud la cual tuve que atender con rapidez, gracias a dios ya todo esta mejor.

Les contaré lo mas breve posible por lo que he pasado estos días, hace ya como 3 meses estaba sentada en mi trabajo y comencé a tocarme el cuello, normal a acariciarlo y he sentido una bolita en la parte izquierda de este.De inmediato me alarme puesto que no era normal y acudí a un médico general, este me envió a hacerme un eco, en el eco salió ser un nódulo en la tiroides luego de eso me remitieron a un endocrino.
I will tell you as briefly as possible what I have been going through these days, about 3 months ago I was sitting at work and I started to touch my neck, normal to caress it and I felt a little ball on the left side of it, immediately I was alarmed because it was not normal and I went to a general practitioner, he sent me to get an echo, in the echo came out to be a nodule in the thyroid after that I was referred to an endocrinologist.
El endocrino al ver el tamaño del nódulo decidió mandar a hacerme una biopsia para descartar, los resultados de dicha biopsia resultaron ser un carcinoma papilar. Lo cual me asustó mucho, al saber que era un nódulo maligno inmediatamente hice todo lo necesario para verme en el mejor hospital de Caracas el cual es un hospital oncológico.
The endocrinologist upon seeing the size of the nodule decided to send me for a biopsy to rule it out, the results of said biopsy turned out to be a papillary carcinoma. Which scared me a lot, knowing that it was a malignant nodule I immediately did everything necessary to see me in the best hospital in Caracas which is an oncology hospital.
Logre hacerme todos los exámenes necesarios y verme con todos los médicos correspondientes para proceder a operarme, puesto que tenían que hacerme una tiroidectomia total para así prevenir que surgiera otro nódulo al tiempo.
I managed to get all the necessary tests done and see all the corresponding doctors to proceed with the operation, since I had to have a total thyroidectomy to prevent another nodule from arising at the same time.
Gracias a Dios obtuve un cupo para mi operación rápido, estaba nerviosa, al igual que mi mamá que estuvo acompañándome en todo momento. Entre a quirófano a la 9am y ya a las 11am estaba saliendo de este, un poco desorientada pero bien.
Thank God I got a place for my operation quickly, I was nervous, as was my mom who was with me at all times. I went into the operating room at 9am and by 11am I was leaving, a little disoriented but fine.
El nódulo que me sacaron le hicieron una biopsia nuevamente y pues el resultado que arrojó este examen fué que no era maligno, si no un nódulo benigno. Gracias a Dios fué así.
The nodule they took out of me was biopsied again and the result of this test was that it was not malignant, but a benign nodule. Thank God it was.
Ahorita ya estoy mucho mejor, solo me quedar tomar mis hormonas de por vida y pues cuidarme mucho. Agradecida con Dios estoy de verdad porque todo haya salido bien.
Now I am much better, I just have to take my hormones for life and take good care of myself. I am really thankful to God that everything went well.
