To all the people who make this community a creative place and generator of teachings, entertainment and much more than that a window to the changing world where we are now. We live in pandemic but I want to tell you not to lose your focus and your faith to reinvent yourself and learn every day.

It is a pleasure to tell you about my story and to tell you that I AM BACK!

I have been a Caraqueñita for as long as I can remember. Born in Venezuela, my country, of which I am completely pleased, with its ups and downs I have been able to understand so many things that I would not change even being on the other side of the world. It offered me the opportunity to get to know the popular culture, its people and their kindness, it opened the doors to the musical and artistic world. I grew up in a large family with good principles and values, surrounded by many cousins and uncles, quite united and bochincheros, but enterprising and good at working to better themselves every day... They were my first incentive to be what I am, until now.

I started at a very young age in the Bigott Foundation, in the Popular Culture Workshops with traditional dance, this was my first approach to the arts. I was very restless and I liked to watch people dance and imitate them to do it myself. It is worth mentioning that this happened at birthdays and family gatherings! The Bigott Foundation became a home of memories that I keep, some of the best of my childhood. It marked me in such a way, to have chosen to do things that I liked when I was a very little girl and that my parents had supported me was for me the best gift. I don't know where I would be at this point in my life, I would have missed so many exciting and meaningful things!

Esto es un consejo que les doy a todos los que me leen, y es que no dejen de soñar y buscar hacer sus sueños realidad. Créanme que si se cumplen... Ya les diré por qué.

This is a piece of advice I give to everyone who reads me, and that is to never stop dreaming and seek to make your dreams come true. Believe me that if they come true.... I will tell you why.

Viví muchas experiencias en Bigott, años bonitos aprendizajes gratos. Allí vi percusión, canto, un poco de teatro por parte de mi profesor de danza, entre otras cosas ... Que por un momento pensé culminadas luego de no volver más a ese bello lugar. Luego de eso comencé a estudiar en el Sistema en un coro infantil, me enamoré nuevamente y no fue exactamente de la danza...

I lived many experiences in Bigott, years of beautiful and pleasant learning. There I saw percussion, singing, a little bit of theater by my dance teacher, among other things ... That for a moment I thought culminated after not returning to that beautiful place. After that I began to study in the System in a children's choir, I fell in love again and it wasn't exactly dance....

Music managed to catch me in such a way that I could not detach my soul from that connection, from there my journey to the best of my choices, I quickly passed from choir because of my interest and my aptitude for singing. I participated in festivals and important seminars with choral conductors from abroad, great symphonies, operas, and others. In the system I also had the opportunity to be in orchestras, I started playing violin for a while but decided after almost 2 years that it would not be something definitive to stay in the orchestra and opted to study classical percussion. I stayed in that for a long time but my responsibilities with the choir and the orchestra plus my work as a student forced me to leave some of them. Sadly, I left the orchestra and remained faithful to the choir...

Pase al coro juvenil metropolitano, piloto por ser el sucesor del Coro que representa nuestro país CNJSB. Permanecí con ellos poco tiempo dado a que ya tenía forjada una base musical académica y no veía mis días como solista sinfónico, mi pasado tradicional siempre estuvo latente, es raíz que jamás desvaneció, aparte de todo lo que hice en el Sistema siempre trate de no desligarme a mis actividades culturales que hoy por hoy disfruto con tanto amor y pasión.

I went to the Metropolitan Youth Choir, pilot for being the successor of the choir that represents our country CNJSB. I stayed with them for a short time because I had already forged an academic musical base and I did not see my days as a symphonic soloist, my traditional past was always latent, it is a root that never faded, apart from everything I did in the system always try not to detach myself from my cultural activities that today I enjoy with so much love and passion.

Decidí estudiar un poco de ambos mundos y realizar mi licenciatura en Música mención Canto Jazz en la Universidad Experimental de las Artes (UNEARTE). Aun estoy en proceso de terminar mi carrera universitaria en esta casa de estudio, se que pronto lograre culminarla. Relacionada a esta otra etapa de mi vida, el Jazz forma parte de mi esencia musical tanto como el canto tradicional. Conseguí un lugar donde podría ser ambas y ese lugar fue junto al Ensamble B11; agrupación que tiene una gran importancia en mi vida y a la cual le debo tantos logros. Piloto entre todo mis proyectos musicales, un Ensamble que fusiona la música tradicional de manera fresca junto a géneros comerciales en un formato vocal sin desvirtuar la originalidad de nuestra música venezolana. Quisiera hacer un post más adelante donde les contaré de ellos con lujo de detalles...

I decided to study a little bit of both worlds and to do my degree in Music with mention in Jazz Singing at the Universidad Experimental de las Artes (UNEARTE). I am still in the process of finishing my university career in this house of study, I know that soon I will be able to finish it. Related to this other stage of my life, Jazz is as much a part of my musical essence as traditional singing. I got a place where I could be both and that place was with the Ensamble B11; group that has a great importance in my life and to which I owe so many achievements. I pilot among all my musical projects, an Ensemble that fuses traditional music in a fresh way with commercial genres in a vocal format without distorting the originality of our Venezuelan music. I would like to do a post later on where I will tell you about them in detail...

Currently I keep myself doing musical life in several groups, which in some way or another have been my artistic growth process... I have met people that I saw as my idols and now I share the stage with many of them, muses of singing, of my singing. Tangible and satisfying dreams.

Cada uno, paso a paso van completando mi ciclo de felicidad, y se siguen sumando...

Each one, step by step they are completing my cycle of happiness, and they keep on adding up...

I thank God for keeping me on this path, and for finding the right people to accompany me in the university of life....
