After a good weekend, the hustle and bustle of Monday started early.
It's still pretty early. My little girls are still sleeping. I would like to take this opportunity and share with you my friends what I did over the weekend.

A week ago, my dear mother came to us from Izmir. Unfortunately, the dust cloud affected him as well, and he did not want to go out for the weekend because he was allergic.
There were places that I wanted to visit in Gaziantep for a long time. However, it would not be easy to visit these places with my daughters. Me and my husband decided to leave our daughters with my mother and take a cultural trip in Gaziantep.

Gaziantep is a city famous for its cuisine and dishes. Turkey's gourmet city. My husband is from Gaziantep and after we got married, I learned a lot more about the culture and food of this city. They definitely have a great culinary culture.
However, the city is a place worth visiting not only with its food but also with its historical features.
We decided to visit cultural and historical places in Gaziantep with my husband at the weekend.

First of all, let me give you a brief information about the history of the coppersmiths' bazaar. Afterwards, I will take you to this bazaar with photos from my trip.
In the Bakırcılar Bazaar in Gaziantep, there are shops of masters who make many handicrafts.
As soon as you enter the bazaar street, you realize that you have come to a historical place. The street has preserved its historical texture. The wooden covered shops and stone paved streets in the bazaar tell us that it is from another era.
I don't know why, but I've always loved this street. Coppersmiths bazaar is a small bazaar located in a small and narrow street. But I love walking here, these streetsts.

The exact date of construction of the shops in Bakırcılar Çarşısı is not known. It is estimated to have been built in the 19th century. The bazaar, which consists of single-storey shops, is located in the inns area. It is also very close to Gaziantep Castle. There are already many inns around the gaziantep castle. The shops opening to the street with arched entrances are made of smooth cut hard limestone (keymıh).

Coppersmiths' Bazaar is also located on the cultural road.
It is truly a place worth visiting.
Plus, great stuff is on sale.

I didn't buy anything on my trip today. There were many more places to visit and I did not want to carry things in my hands. Also, as I mentioned at the beginning of my article, I have been here many times before. I bought a coffee mug set from here.

There is one more thing I want to show you here. While walking from the castle side to the bazaar, there are small shops on the road that still preserve their historical texture.
In one of these shops, sandals (shoes) are sold. The master who made the shoes was preparing another shoe while we were there. I really like these shoes. I even had one years ago. they are very comfortable. If you go one day, you should definitely stop by here.

While walking around the bazaar, you will come across various craftsmen. As soon as you enter the street, you will hear the hammer hitting the copper.

Prices were also very reasonable. I asked the price of a statue of a woman holding a terrace of justice. I even regret not getting it now. The price was 250 TL. (About 20 hive)

These are copper kitchen utensils.
A glass of buttermilk that I hold in my hand. Many restaurants in Gaziantep also serve ayran in these glasses.

The bucket you see hanging is used for fermenting yoghurt.

There were also shops selling jewelry accessories, various shawls, covers and handmade leather bags in the bazaar.
Most of the products sold in the shops here are made by hand. Shop owners who sell are also artisans who make products in the same xamanda.
