MY HIVE GOALS FOR YEAR 2022

If you check my profile you'll see that my profile description says "Goal for 2021- Have at least 1000HP in my wallet before the end of the year"😅😢

Well if you go ahead to check my wallet, you'll see that I have just about 120HP.

Now that's really entirely my fault. From being too inconsistent to taking too many long breaks, I allowed my blog to grow too many cobwebs at too many times.
I would say it was as a result of my non-ommitment to Hive and my attitude of inconsistency to matters that are important.

And I have come to the realization that setting goals and achieving them should be an integral part in building confidence for a blogger and also it gives experience, especially when it can becomes one's source of daily bread.

I have personally seen people that set these goals and come out with positive goals here on Hive. I have also seen results from goals I have set for myself in other areas in time past so I have decided to set goals that will help me in my Hive journey in 2022.

Coupled with my #30daybloggingchallenge which I started here , I am looking forward to a productive January.

Blogging goal 1: My Contents and Audience Should Be My Priority.

Thousands of people are here on Hive daily scrolling through their feeds and communities looking for contents that will help them solve one problem or another, to gather information, to get entertained....
And as a blogger or a writer, it's my duty to provide contents that will satisfy my audience as small as it could be.

And that's where having a niche comes in, @starstrings01 and @chosenfingers makes post majorly on their musical instrument skills and on Hive related matters. This has helped them defined the contents they put out for their audience, because they are naturally good at it.

It's somewhat a waste of time most times to write on something you're not all too familiar with because you will spend long hours researching in order to re-compose, re-write or come up with something manageable. Most times, one might resort to plagiarised contents.

Blogging Goal 2: What additional skills must I have asides blogging

Learning from my bosses here on Hive, I have realized that to be a successful blogger going forward, one must have additional skills one has learnt or is naturally gifted at doing. This is because in doing so, one will be able to render additional services to clients online and make money from it.

For many here, they are web designers, photographers, musicians e.t.c
These skills can be showcased here and can earn one an audience in no time because it's natural and they are comfortable making them.

Blogging Goal 3: Set Time-Table For My Blogging

As I mentioned in my #30daybloggingchallenge post,I mentioned the importance of having a blogging timetable.
time table as one of your blogging goals for 2022.

Even if your goal is to publish one blog post a week, one must have a perfect time table for doing that, else, you will realize that 3 months have just gone by and you haven’t been able to publish even a single post on your blog.

Especially, if you are a newbie here on Hive, and have not yet started to make money or probably have another commitment on the side that robs you of the time to sit down and create content.

So one of my goals of 2022 is having a blogging time table and sticking to it.

Blogging Goal 4: Setting a Financial Goal

So for 2022, I'll be setting a new financial Goal.1000HP was the benchmark for 2021 but I was only able to achieve 120HP. A reason for this was I didn't engage in the monthly power-ups.
But this year I'll be setting my financial goal in terms of HBD. Therefore for 2022, I'm benchmarking 1000HBD as the minimum.
Setting the goals this high will make me know how much time and commitment I am willing to spend on Hive...

And it's definitely achievable.
