Series of the Seas

Hi there! Today I would like to share some paintings of seas that I have painted so far. The seas and beach are always very attractive to me. They are not only blue of sky and water, but also in different shades. At different moment, they have different impression to me.
As usual, I painted them with acrylics on canvas, the common size is from 40x60 cm to 50x70 cm. Hope that you enjoy them:

"Breakwater at Thuan An Beach" captures the afternoon of my hometown beach. The waves are so calm with slight wind in a summer afternoon. In the summer afternoon, there is often thunderstorm and the sky is not clear before it. I impressed the water color and very happy with this tone of color. I think I did well with the wet sand after wave out and I tried to paint the reflection of breakwater on it. Thuan An Beach is only 15 km from my place and it is also place I spend a lot of time of my summer holidays.

"Going in a thunderstorm" was painted at the end of last year. I painted it and show to my colleagues in tourism that was us in 2020. However, I did not pay attention to the direction of the ships going into a darker sea. Then one of my colleague ask me if it is 2021? Finally, it seems to be true with people in the pandemic, specially workers in tourism. I hope that you can feel the capture of high waves in the storm.

"Full moon night" is a quick painting based on my nephew idea. I and he was painting and he told me that he wanted to paint a night on sea. Therefore, he did his and I did mine. I love the calm sea in full moon so I do not set any waves. Might it be calm with underflow?

"Sunset on the beach" captures the glory of a day. The color of sunset is always my favourite tone that I love to capture most. I have painted some sunset landscape but this is the one on seascape. I am quite happy with white foam and waves near the sandy beach. It is showed at a coffee shop now then I can enjoy it every time I have coffee there. The sunset dyes the sea water and I dip myself in this while painting it.
