Making an F1 Racing Car

Haciendo un Carro de Carreras F1

Hello my dear friends, days without doing anything about Wire Art. But I had run out of the most Essential material: Copper Cables and Wire. So I set out to get in materials that were going to be thrown away and got some good pieces of Cable that would become future creations.

Hola mis queridos Amigos, días sin hacer nada de Arte Alambre. Pero me había quedado sin la materia mas Esencial: Cobre de Cables y Alambre. Así que me dispuse a conseguir en materiales que iban a ser tirados a la basura y conseguí unos buenos pedazos de Cable que se convertirán en futuras creaciones.

This time I wanted to make an F1 Racing car model. Try to make it as close as possible to reality, I hope you like it. I always start from the base of copper wire with its respective tin solder.

Esta ocasión quise hacer un modelo de carro de Carreras de F1. Trate de hacerlo lo mas ajustado posible a la realidad, Espero les guste. Siempre parto de la base de Alambre de cobre con su respectiva soldadura de Estaño.

Materials to use: As always, COPPER WIRE.. Tin and soldering iron. Pliers and tweezers. For the ornament: Colored glossy paper black and blue. Glue and scissors.

Materiales a usar: Como siempre , ALAMBRE DE COBRE. Estaño y soldadora. Alicates y pinzas. Para el adorno: Papel lustrillo de Colores y negro y azul. Pegamento y tijeras.

Process / Procedimiento:

The first thing was to cut four copper strips of 25cm each in order to remove the main part of the car's chassis, forming its particular Diamond shape.

Lo primero fue cortar cuatro lineas de cobre de 25cm cada una para de ellas sacar la principal parte del chasis del carro, formando su particular forma de Diamante.

After forming the main structure, it is necessary to reinforce with cross welds in the shape of an X, just like the real F1 cars.

Luego de Formar la Estructura principal, hay que reforzar con soldaduras de lineas transversales en forma de equis, tal como los verdaderos carros de F1.

Then design the system where the wheels will go: wind a wire and the axles of the wheels will pass through there, which will be two metal rods that rotate smoothly on their axis. (the rubbers will be almost at the end). The structure will also continue to be reinforced.

Luego diseñe el sistema donde irán las ruedas: enrolle un alambre y por ahí pasaran los ejes de las ruedas, que serán dos varillas de metal que giran suavemente por su eje. ( los cauchos serán casi al final). También se seguirá reforzando la estructura.

Reinforced the structure, you have to make the front wing, and this was with three 8cm lines, which were glued to the front of the chassis. Also in the same way will be done with the rear wing. (Previously in the formation of the Chassis, he had left a foundation to stick the rear wing there).

Reforzada la estructura, hay que hacer el alerón delantero, y esto fue con tres lineas de 8cm, que se pegaron en la parte frontal del chasis. También de la misma Forma se hará con el alerón Trasero. (Previamente en la formación del Chasis, había dejado un cimiento para de ahí pegar el alerón trasero).

Formed the ailerons, I put an oval in the upper part that will be the entrance to the car.

Formado los alerones, pongo un ovalo en la parte superior que sera la entrada al auto.

Now with the help of my Dremmer and some 1-inch pvc pipes I cut the 4 car tires (the back ones are wider than the front ones).

Ahora con la ayuda de mi Dremmer y unos tubos pvc de 1 pulgada corto los 4 cauchos de auto (los de atrás son mas anchos que los delanteros).

With the rubbers already cut and some rubber rubber, I proceed to line the wheels and mount them to the car. Leaving everything almost ready.

Con los cauchos ya cortados y algo de goma de caucho procedo a forrar las ruedas y montarlas al carro. Dejando todo casi listo.

Now the only thing missing is a decoration with colored paper (I used blue and black)

Ahora solo falta adornar con papel de Colores( yo use azul y negro)
