An happy Sunday to all hivers here!
Yesterday we spent a very special Saturday between music and art inside our lab room and so I'm here to share with you emotions and pics about it.
Sometimes we use to open our lab room/ studio to the citizen so people can watch our new artworks in a free and cozy way. Tea and coffee to drink together, talking about this and that, old friends and new friends, questions and answers about our work on art and also some "special guest" like writers, poets and, like yesterday, musicians.
The best friend of my hubby (they are friends since they were young boys) is an excellent trombone player and so, days ago, we asked him to play for a little something during the event. He (his name is Paolo, like the name of my hubby 😃 ) was happy to play inside our lab with his friend Alessandro who is a double bass player because both of them love art and they were intrigued by to play for a little jam sessions in a art studio, so, yesterday, they gave us really fantastic moments!!!
During the music session the musicians had a couple of funny "hats" on their head like the one made by an old destroyed book you can see here:
I don't have photos about it, but one of the "stars" of the day was our furry friend Richy (best known as Cicciogatto) who love to stay at the center of every scene. 😊 To be honest, while the musicians was playing jazz I thought about a scene of the Disney movie "The aristocats" when the cats play "Everybody wants to be a cat" that in the italian version of the movie was "Tutti quanti voglion fare jazz" (Everybody want to play jazz)! 😀
As you can understand, it was really a nice Saturday and there were a lot of people with us. I think this kind of little event inside our lab is an opportunity for everyone to know people, to exchange experiences and, sure, to spend a little time in a interesting way. ❤️
See ya soon and stay safe,
Silvia

That sounds like a lot of fun. Very creative in many ways.
My kids loved The Aristocats and so did I when I was young.
