Here in Chile, at the beginning of 2020, measures against COVID-19 were taken too late and now we are paying the consequences.
This, added to a huge percentage of the population that is extremely irresponsible, has generated that today, after 15 months of Coronavirus in Chile, we are worse off than at the beginning.
The measures are stricter, but many are also irrational. But that is another matter.
Acá en Chile, en inicios del 2020, se empezaron a tomar medidas contra el COVID-19 demasiado tarde y ahora estamos pagando las consecuencias.
Eso, sumado a un inmenso porcentaje de la población que es sumamente irresponsable, ha generado que hoy despues de 15 meses de Coronavirus en Chile estamos peor que al principio.
Las medidas son más estrictas, pero muchas también irracionales. Pero esa es harina de otro costal.
With this pre-pandemic pictures, we remember when it was not a problem to go out, when we could go out and enjoy some good hamburgers and craft beer in our favorite local brewery.
The confinement did not affect us so much at the beginning, but we are already feeling tired, tired of working and tired of doing nothing, because when we are working we get tired of working, and when we are rested we also get bored of the same, of sleeping, of watching series, movies, of cooking, practically we get tired of resting.
Con estas fotos pre-pandémicas, hoy recordamos cuando no era un problema salir, cuando podiamos salir disfrutar de unas buenas hamburguesas y cerveza artesanal en nuestra cervecería local favorita.
El encierro no nos afectó tanto al principio, pero ya nos estamos sintiendo cansados, cansados de trabajar y cansados de no hacer nada, porque cuando estamos trabajando nos cansamos de trabajr, y cuando estamos descansados también nos aburrimos de lo mismo, de dormir, de ver series, películas, de cocinar, prácticamente nos cansamos de descansar.
Will we ever get back to 'normality'?
Since 'normality' is so subjective, surely not. But... Will we return to a free, sociable life, without going out only for essential things?
will we make new friends, will we get to know new places... Or, well, the places that are left.
We just have to hold on and wait, today, in April 2021. We are still locked up with restriction of free movement and bored.

¿Será que algun día volveremos a la "normalidad"?
Siendo la "normalidad" tan subjetiva, seguramente no. Pero... Será que volveremos a tener una vida libre, sociable, sin salir solamente a cosas escenciales,
será que haremos amigos nuevos, será que conoceremos nuevos lugars... O bueno, los lugares que queden.
Solo nos queda aguantar y esperar, hoy, en Abril del 2021. Seguimos encerrados con restricción de libre movimiento y aburridos.
