One night walking in the park I saw something strange
I first didn't notice as the sky looked quite normal on a wet and dark night with the clouds hanging low over the horizon. But then ever so slightly I thought that the sky looked a bit strange: there seemed to be some unusual colors reflected in clouds, changing ever so slightly from blue to green and then to a reddish hue; quite different from the orange glow normally seen from the city lights. I had to look very closely to be sure, but the more fixated I became on that area the less sure I was. The eyes are less sensitive to light in the center of the vision... so it's actually best when you look slightly next to the target and then you see it brighter. Quite strange! But then I was sure... there were lights and they were changing colors.
I wanted to confirm this on my phone and so I tried to take a good exposure. But unfortunately my phone isn't too great in low light environments. But this is what I got.
The lights were changing very gradually. I would say about every 10-20 seconds they changed very slowly from one color to the next. The blue color was the best capture; I also got a bit of green and red in the others...
What could have caused this display of lights? As far as I know there wasn't a big city in that direction and in times of Corona it seemed quite unlikely for there to be a fair or some bigger event there with some spotlights. But of course that could have been the reason... I didn't research it too much more. But the more I think of it, the more it seems that this had to have been the answer. I mean what else could have caused these lights to appear in the sky? It wasn't a short display with it lasting for at least 15 minutes I was standing there.
Could the answer potentially be have been more exotic? Could they have been perhaps even alien? Well perhaps yes... I mean the pentagon even officially acknowledged the presence of UFOs some years ago. Crazy that that didn't get very much attention. I always thought that if a government agency would make such an acknowledgment that "all hell would break lose". I mean there are a lot of follow up questions to that. Like: what or who are they? How often are they being seen? Where are they being seen? Since when has the government known about that? Could another nation be responsible for them? And if not (which seems to be the case) why is the "first" contact not being discussed like literally everywhere?
Perhaps the news of "aliens" (whatever that means) isn't such a big deal after all? Perhaps people just aren't interested in "looking up" anymore and asking the big questions. Perhaps we have become too complacent with our lives here or too busy managing our survival. Or perhaps for many this really is a "no news event" as it doesn't really impact their lives in a meaningful way. I mean, sure they might be out there; but how does that change my life? Everything just seems to go along as usual...
But then again, perhaps there is a lot of depth here that is being overlooked. And I think it is in human nature to ask these big questions and explorer uncharted realms. Perhaps we have just been too confused lately with a lot of things that are not very meaningful or meaningful to just a few people who's interests are not aligned with humanity's well being at large.
The pic looks like the same scenery found in a netflix series titled Stranger Things 😅
hm. Strange. I've been flummoxed by spot lights before, but their colors are less diffuse than these colors are. I have no idea. Interesting
Llamativo y esplendoroso, qué habrá allá arriba ?
Wow it really looks strange
