Today I went with my friends and coworkers, we went to the dam of the town, from there is where the water is sent to the town, while we were walking I found this beauty floating on the water a beautiful flower called bora.
This bora flower is the emblematic flower of one of the states in Venezuela, Apure, it can be said that it is an aquatic plant of the Pontederiaceae family, native to the warm waters of the Amazon that inhabits rivers and lakes, with temperatures above 0°C. It is also used as a medicinal plant, soil fertilizer and decorative. Currently it has colonized almost all continents where it has become an invasive species. I can tell you that the flower is very beautiful.
En el dia de hoy fui con mis amigos y compañeros de trabajo ,fuimos a la represa del pueblo, de hay es donde se envía el agua para el pueblo, mientras caminábamos me encontre esta belleza flotando sobre el agua una hermosa flor llamada bora.
Esta flor de bora es la flor emblemática de uno de los estados en Venezuela, Apure se puede decir que es una planta acuática de la familia Pontederiaceae originaria de las aguas cálidas del Amazonas que habita en ríos y lagos, con temperaturas mayores a 0°C.También Es usada como planta medicinal, fertilizante de suelos y decorativa. Actualmente ha colonizado casi todos los continentes donde se convierte en una especie invasora. Les puedo decir que la flor es muy hermosa.
