Today was quite a productive and exciting day! Well, it all started with school lessons, which went well. Later, my classmate and I left for the market to buy materials for our Jet Club project. We are planning to make a radio-controlled robot, and finding the right materials was quite an adventure.
It was not easy finding our way through the market, mainly when you are looking for something important. Some shops didn't have what we needed; thus, we had to move around asking and checking. The most challenging thing was bargaining over prices so that they would fit our budget. We finally bought some of the required materials and went back home, accomplished and excited about our project.
When I reached my street, it was filled with dirt and snack wrappers. So, out of responsibility, I cleaned it. With a medium-sized waste bag, I started picking up the garbage. It amazes me how much dirt is accumulated daily, even when you put in an effort to keep the area clean.
It took a bit to clean up, but I wasn't sorry. Cleaning up the environment tends to be my routine; thus, to some extent, I have been able to contribute to making this Earth a better place to live. Afterwards, I disposed of the trash properly and went back home, satisfied with what was to be conducted the next day.
All from school, down to the market, and finally cleaning up, it was just reminder after reminder: small efforts amount to big impacts. Let us all be aware and do our part in keeping our environment clean! Thanks to @cleanplanet .
