Byproducts of Farm Animals. How a Farmer can Augment his Income from what others my see as Waste.

Hello happy people of the great Agricultural Mindset community. I hope we are doing well.
Today I will be sharing with us the different possible by-products of our farm animals. As an animal farmer, we need to know the different byproducts which we can get from our farm animals and also what these by-products could be used for.
I will treat each of the byproducts one after the other.

EGGS
Eggs are byproducts from poultry birds such as the white leghorn, brown leghorn,Rhode Island Red,geese, guinea fowls and even turkeys. Eggs can be sold by a farmer to make money and could also serve the farmer when he wants to make his poultry/animal feed. Egg shells are used in making feeds due to its calcium content.

MEAT
Meat can be gotten from all farm animals. Meat has different names depending on the farm animals they are gotten from. Meat of cattle is beef, pig is pork, sheep is mutton, domestic fowl is chicken while goat is goat meat. Farmers can sell goats alive or in parts when killed to make money.

BONE 🦴
Bone is the same as meat, derived from all animals but higher quantity is obtained from animals like cattle, sheep, goat.
Bone has great usefulness to farmers in the sense that it could be crushed to make bone meal(rich in Calcium and Phosphorus).

BLOOD and FEATHER
Blood too is obtainable from all farm animals and could be used to get a blood meal rich in proteins, vitamins and minerals. Feathers are found only in poultry birds. To a farmer they could be sold as they were used in making pillows, mattresses and cushions.

MILK
Milk is derived from the female farm animals. The mammary gland(udder) is where the milk is produced. Milk can serve as food to a farmer or be sold out for production of dairy products like butter, cheese, yogurts, etc.

HIDES AND SKIN
HIDES and skin are derived from farm animals such as cattle, sheep, goat, pig and rabbit. A farmer can process them into meat for consumption or sell them to generate income.

WOOL AND FUR
Fur is gotten from rabbits while wool is from sheep. I hope you have learned this if you didn't know before. They can be sold by farmers for income.

HORN AND DUNG
The horn is obtained from farm animals like cattle, goats and sheep also. The farmer can sell the animal horns for income or use it to make fertilizer and animal meals. They can serve domestic purposes too as they can be used as drinking cups, decorations and musical instruments.
Dung is produced by all farm animals. Animal dung increases soil fertility, texture and adds more soil organisms.

Thanks to everyone who has viewed my post and I hope you must have learned a lot. If you are a farmer or planning to become one,I hope you have learned how to utilize every byproduct from your farm animals to increase your income.
Thank you and have a good day.
