Any agriculture we have different types of crops and as well as what they seems to offer as their end product. This end product we always surface at the end of either 4 months or 6 months or 8 months or 12 months of planting and cultivating. So at the end of the 12 months you will definitely see what you are planted and harvest it out. Sometimes it takes much more than 12 months depending on the type of crop you cultivated. Some of the related or similar crop as the potato is yam, cocoyam, carrot, onions, and some other type of crops.

When you talk off planting or cultivating potato tuber. It is very good to practice us a farmer because what you plant is the Vine alone and you are good to go. This is why what nature has to offer is numerous. Nature is great. When you plant this Vine then it will take close to 5 months before you see what you have planted as end products.

I was passing by this particular local Street when I saw this woman certain out and also placing different price on potato tuber as a daily hustle to make two ends meet. So I move closer and we had a lot of conversations. Some of the conversations I made with her was that is this really a very good business to start with? And this particular woman said yes because she has been doing this for more than six years. And it is profitable. She also said that she always go to a very close by farmers Farm to purchase them right from the agricultural land then transport it back to the town to sell for people. This is awesome. She also emphasized that she has three children which she use this money to train them to go to school. I took some pictures of the Potato tuber and how she does her work.

This was how I saw the woman spread the already collected potato tubers in a sack. She bought them on the floor and started selecting them as they are in different sizes. This sizes ranges from small, big, bigger and biggest. And the prices also differ. She took a time to do this as I took some pictures of which she was a very aware of.

This is why agriculture is a very wide scope which also brings about relieving people gradually even when it seems very hard. This woman absolutely say that they prices now tripled the former price which she always purchase then on the farm. Take for distance she said that initially it always go for #10,000 per bag. But now it is #25,000 naira per bag. You can see the increment even on agricultural produce.

So she always lay them on the shelf before people come to buy them one after the other. She also emphasized that she has some people who always come to buy them in bulk and resell them or use them as fried chips. You can use them for different type of meal.

At the moment things are very high and they are very costly so as some agricultural produce even in the market. There are several small businesses that are very reliable and can also be used to feed your family even with agricultural produce. The buying and selling of potatoes, yam, pepper, green vegetables, carrots, garlic, Ginger etc.

Some people do not believe that they can actually be at the end of agricultural marketing and also make a living. When you are not the producer of agricultural produce or products you can be at the end and also make your living gradually just like as this woman rightly did.

This was when the woman already laid some on the shelf for customer to see when passing by and for them to buy them very early. This woman was already doing this when I got there at exactly 7:15 a.m. in the morning.

• She also weighed them physically with her eyes before she starts to place them on the shelf. This is one of the small business that people do where I reside for a living.
