Planting tomato plants

Hello friends and community, today once again I am sharing my small garden here at home in another activity that is being carried out in my country Portugal at the moment, which is planting tomato plants.
Tomato planting does not have any special characteristics, just what is general for most plantations.
To plant tomato plants we must take into account that the soil must be very loose, especially in soils like the one I have here, which is more muddy and all it takes is one or two days without watering and it soon starts to harden and crack.
In my case, I usually dig the earth well to loosen it to a depth of approximately 10 centimeters, as the holes that I will make in the earth to place the tomato plants must be around 5 centimeters deep, but this also depends on whether the tomato plants to be planted are already grown and tall or are still short.
So the choice of tomato plant is also important, as we have tomato plants of different qualities that produce different tomato varieties.
In my garden I usually put heart tomatoes, which are large and very juicy tomatoes, but another quality is the so-called apple tomato, which is very good despite being a little smaller than the heart tomato and which works very well in tomato and lettuce salads. very cool in summer.
There are also more varieties, but I generally opt for these two qualities.
After planting, always be careful to water well as it is good for the roots to develop well and watering in this hot climate makes planting essential.
Now it's time to water and then put canes on the tomato plants to support and fertilize them so that we can provide them with some more nutrients to help with their development.
