"Well there's chocolate here, I wonder if I could have some, no disaster if I can't."

That's generally my approach to things and life in general. I haven't heard of the term catastrophizing but i've seen a number of people like that. That reminds me a lot of kids under the age of 7 - everything is a matter of life and death.
