Good Day to Everyone from Hive Pakistan,

This post while a contest post has a 2 pronged approach. The first thing we want to discuss is the Elephant in the room that no one wants to talk about in the open. If we are honest, is that South Asians are scammers and use unethical loopholes where they can. This is unfortunately true and is born from a society where money reigns. This is further compounded by our origins considering our religion and faith.

These bad actors, unfortunately, result in other hard workers not getting the opportunities that they deserve. We have to change this narrative by OURSELVES. No one will do it for us. We will not wake up one morning and have everyone magically saying "Jag jiyon Pakistan".

To this end, we want to highlight the research and writing talents of EVERYONE in this discord. Hive Pakistan is going to hold a 300 Hive (125 USD Value as of this announcement) writing contest. We firmly believe in spreading awareness about the problems that poor people in Pakistan face. As such this contest's theme will revolve around this.

Write about a Charity/NGO that is active in Pakistan. The more detail of what they have done the better.

Spirisurge will be the judge, jury, and executioner for this contest until other people are trained sufficiently.

The contest starts today 4th February 2023 9 pm (UTC+3) and will end on 18th February 2023 at 9 pm (UTC+3) as well.

The scoring will be out of 10 and the judging criteria will be as follows:

• Quality of research.
• The more unique the NGO/charity (please go past google page 1 after searching) the better.
• Quality of writing. Grammar and structuring will be observed.
• Pictures get you bonus points with sources reference.
• Custom infographics get you bonus points.
• Please put your post links in hivepakistan-contest-post-only in the Hive Pakistan discord.
• Cross posts to Blurt, Steem, dlearning will be disqualified. If you really want to post there do it after the contest ends on 18th Feb.
• Plagiarizing content will be disqualified.
• If everyone writes about the same NGO/charity then you will get a reduced score, except the first person who writes about said NGO or Charity.
• Multiple entries from the same person are accepted.
• Please note you are encouraged to research hard as bringing up NGOs/charities that take 90% of the money for themselves (unfortunately, true) will receive a lower score
• Please remember to tag @hivepakistan and @Spiritsurge in your posts.

Anyone can participate... and we have selected Pakistan as the location well because otherwise, it would be too easy. Everyone would just write about Red Cross.
