Being overly busy in our attempt to build a career or earn our keep within an organization, has become an undeniable issue for a lot of people. They feel the need to build a proper relationship with friends and family and to have a personal relaxation time for themselves, but all the activities which call for their attention rob them of any opportunity to truly connect.
Being who we are in a time where a lot of activities needs to be done each day of the week, weekends come up as a perfect time for us to connect with our society and build decent relationships.
It's also a good time to relax, but with the new trend of having multiple jobs and engaging in side hustles, most of our weekends end up being compact and filled with more work.
I for one, know that I can't go offline every Saturday and Sunday in the name of enjoying my weekend. The same thing applies to a lot of people. Everyone has things to do and the clock is ticking. With that in mind, I've been able to come up with some stuff I do in my attempt to make the best of each weekend.
Firstly, I do my laundry on weekdays. Just like today, before coming online, I did my laundry and I'm sure that I wouldn't have to be worried about that over the weekend. I had to wash early because we are in the rainy season so, clothes take a longer duration to get dried up. Now that I'm done with the laundry, it's left for mother nature to send down the sun -you know what I mean.
Secondly, I top up the petrol on my standby generator on weekdays. Yeah, low power supply is still a thing here. I've heard that some part of my country has steady power. I've also been to some places that can boast of 10 hours of power supply per day, but that isn't the case here. The last time we got power supply was on Wednesday and it lasted for 90 minutes or so. I've already been to a petrol station this morning and I can boast of enough petrol to keep my gadgets on till next week.
Thirdly, I use my Fridays to plan what I want each weekend to be spent. I don't need to have it as paperwork to call it a plan, I just have them well worked out in my mind and I will see it playing out over the weekend. There may be some slight change to the plan. Of course, I always create room for that. But I've noticed that it's preferable to have a plan than to jump into weekends without any plan.
That's it for me. It's still Friday and an action-packed weekend is on the way. Let's have a blast ✌️
Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop Or Comma

It's good that your plans are not stiff and can be adjusted.
Power supply in my area isn't that bad, I guess I can say that they are being generous to us.
Do have a blast. Learnt to say that from you 😅🤭
Hahaha... And I'm having a blast. May not be as blastful as expected, but the blast is undeniable.
I would like to boast of how generous our electricity distributors are but that will be a black lie 😂
😂.
Don't lie then.. it's all cool.
From my own perspective, for your week to be productive you have to be positive with your self and trust God for him to direct your parts in the coming week.
That also works. It's different strokes for different folks. Or maybe, a combination of strokes.
The end product is to get a good weekend and so on
Set your Goal, try not to miss any full-stop or comma.
Hahaha... That's the way to do it.
'Set and hit the goals.'
That works for me
