Stress can be physical or mental in nature.

While physical stress is related to body ache and pains and can be overcome with proper rest and medication, it's the mental stress that is more of a trouble and has a major impact on productivity and performance, also take more time to go.

How can one overcome mental stress?

  1. Take some break - Put a pause to your daily routine and do something you like and enjoy like watching movies, gardening, painting or dancing, anything that you feel will change and divert your mind.
  2. Talk out your heart & mind - Discuss your issues with those you can trust, could be your family or friends. Talking out your heart not only reduces pressure from your shoulder but also sometimes helps you find solutions that can help your issues.
  3. Exercise and Meditation - Exercise and Meditation helps you focus on your health and a good health means stable mind.
  4. Love your pets - Pets are supposed to be great stress busters, Like babies, they are known to clear off your stress by their affection and positive vibes.
  5. Give yourself some time - last but not the least, allow yourself sometime to recover. We are all humans and such situations and instances will happen every now and then. Don't pressurize yourself to get better on day one, with time everything will turn fine.

Stress is a common problem, don't stress out yourself for having stress. It will get better with everyday passing.

We do need a break when we're too stressed out. Thanks for recommending great ideas. I normally hang out with my friends to relieve stress and anxiety.

Yes, that's a great way to get relief from stress.
