FungiFriday: Shield Mushrooms (Pluteus)

in FungiFriday5 months ago (edited)

Hello FungiFriday Lovers. Since the rainy season is about to come, we, as fungi lovers, are excited to welcome this season with hope of finding plenty of mushrooms that grow in the area where we used to visit. A local forest that can be reach in 15 minutes by bike becoming a primary spot to start mushroom hunt. Yep! we probably don't waste too much energy to explore the deep wood to find such a mushroom. This season can help us find it in accessible area, just like these following mushrooms, the fantastic find of shield mushrooms (Pluteus) to welcome rain season. Like other nature pieces, even the smallest fungi with striking beautiful shape and color can bring out our childlike sense of awe. It appears, I was not only captivated with its cap structure as well as the color that made me hang out a bit longer with the shots.
