When the artist collected mushrooms | Коли художник назбирав гриби (ENG|UA)

Greetings to everyone from Ukraine.
Today we want to introduce you to a unique person. Dmytro Pozhodzhuk is an artist, a collector of folk traditions of the Carpathian region and just a broad-minded person. During our folklore expeditions, he is always happy to meet us, direct us to old people who are carriers of traditions, and also treat us with his interesting Carpathian dishes, most of which are prepared from mushrooms.

Сьогодні ми хочемо познайомити вас з унікальною людиною. Дмитро Пожоджук - художник, збирач народних традицій карпатського краю та просто широкої душі людина. Під час наших фольклорних експедицій він завжди радо нас зустрічає, напрявляє до стареньких людей, які є носіями традицій, а також частує своїми цікавими карпатськими стравами, більшість з яких готуються з грибів.

Mr. Dmytro knows everything about mushrooms, as do all residents of Carpathian villages, for whom the forest and mountains are a natural element since childhood, and the science of mushroom picking is passed down from generation to generation.

Про гриби пан Дмитре знає все, як і всі мешканці карпатських сіл, для яких ліс та гори є природньою стихією з самого дитинства, а наука збирання грибів передається з покоління в покоління.

But the artist would not be an artist if he did not combine his two favorite things into one - artistic compositions laid out by mushrooms.

Але художник не був би художником, якби не поєднав дві свої улюблені справи в одне ціле - художні композиції, викладені грибами.

As you know, as a rule, the most beautiful mushrooms from an aesthetic point of view are often poisonous and do not bring any benefit to humans. But this does not mean that they cannot have an artistic function.

Як ви знаєте, як правило, найкрасивіші з естетичної точки зору гриби, часто є отруйними і користі для людини вони не несуть. Але це не означає, що вони не можуть мати мистецьку функцію.

This is exactly what Dmytro proves with his mushroom art and shares photos of his mushroom paintings with the whole world. It is a pity that these pictures can be preserved in time only thanks to the photo.

Саме це своїм грибним мистецтвом і доводить Дмитро і ділиться світлинами своїх грибних картин з усім світом. Шкода, що ці картини не можна зберегти у часі, а доводиться лише зафіксувати ці образи на фото.
