Life is easy now because of technology. We can do many things with our phones, laptops, and the internet. We can talk to people, learn, work, and even have fun online. But as good as it is, the digital world also has its problems. Some small things online can make people angry or tired.
Everyone has something online that annoys them and I want to talk about the digital problems that annoy me the most, and how I try to deal with them.
SPAM EMAILS:- This is too many and very Useless to me, every day when I open my email, I see messages that I don’t need. Some are from people I don’t know, some are ads, and some are even scams. They tell me things like “You have won a prize” or “Click this link now” Of course, they are lies.
I don’t like seeing these messages. They fill my inbox and make it hard to find the important emails. What I do is simple. I delete the spam messages quickly. If I keep getting emails from the same person or company, I click on “Unsubscribe.” After doing this, my inbox will look better.
NOTIFICATIONS:– Every Second Something Pops Up, My phone used to beep every minute. WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, and even some games were sending me notifications all the time. It was too much. I could not concentrate on anything. Even when I was resting, my phone would not let me be.
One day, I got tired and decided to do something about it. I went into my phone settings and turned off most of the notifications. Now only calls and messages from people I know come through. Life is much better now.
POP-UPS AND "SIGN UP FIRST" PAGES:– Have you ever tried to read something online and a big box covers the screen? It tells you to sign up, subscribe, or join something before you can continue. I don’t like this. I just want to read what I came for, some websites will not let you do that until you give them your email or phone number.
When I see this, I just close the site. I don’t have time for stress. I will go and find the same information on another page. If you can’t give me what I came to see, then I won’t stay.
GROUP CHATS:– Group chats are good. We can talk with family, friends, or workmates all in one place. But some group chats become too busy. You go offline for two hours, and when you come back, there are 300 messages. Most of them are jokes, forwards, or long prayers.
It’s hard to keep up. Sometimes, I even miss the important messages because they get lost inside the group. To help myself, I mute most group chats and put them in the archive. I check them only when I want to. That way, I don’t feel overwhelmed.
Always Forgetting password:- Every app and website needs a password. And they all want something different. One says “Add a number,” another says “Use a capital letter,” and some even want symbols. So I end up having different passwords for different things. After some time, I forget them.
I don’t like writing passwords on my phone, so I have a small notebook where I write them down. It’s simple, but it works for me. At least I don’t have to keep clicking “Forgot password” every time.
The truth is that digital pet peeves will always be there because technology is growing every day, and we use it more and more. But that doesn’t mean we must accept every problem. We can take small steps to reduce the stress.

Adverts that pop up out of nowhere are the worst of them all. You just can not go through a website or just even use your phone when your mobile data is turned on without ads popping up. One mistake and you've clicked and signed up to sonsfhing very unnecessary that may cost you. It can be annoying.
Passwords get me annoyed, too. It's almost difficult to keep up anymore.
I used to allow those notifications to come on but after a while, I got pissed by many of them especially from those WhatsApp groups that only chat about unnecessary stuff. I had to disable most of them and put them on silence and only visit when I need to. They feel frustrating and annoying 😆
