Byte-sized History: What I'd include in a digital time capsule

Time is moving so fast, and we are all getting older; many things we have now will be swiped off. Our ancestors kept little or no time capsule because life was much of the offline kind, and some of those monuments and artifacts have decomposed, but still, we have learnt a lot from them.

I have a lot of things which I would love to show my generations to come, a lot of photos which I have backed up and see them many years later. 50 years from now I should be in my late 70's, by God's grace I'll still be alive, enjoying my old age with my family.

Grandparents now do tell their grandkids things they faced and things they did while they were still young, it all came as a story, as they won't fully believe them, but with my digital time capsule I won't have to say much as they will be watching much of what I did. I do make videos of almost every memory-worthy moment and save them to my cloud, and sometimes upload them on my social media.

To represent my digital life, they will know I was once a photographer, as my Facebook will tell them alot, I have uploaded many photos which I used to snap, from good angles, creative shots, Nature photography and so on. All these moments are what i love to capture and upload. So a simple search on my name will pop up my profile and they will have a lot to see through there.

My Hive profile is a big part of the game too, it's good to know that things in the block chain can't be deleted, my profile still remains, and years to come they can just search my name online and find out my hive profile. This will give them a lot of information about myself and my lifestyle. My travel journey and my photography life. This is one of the best digital time capsule to hold onto.

My Google cloud will be another great time capsule, because it holds all the memories, my everyday photos and videos and moments are all backed up there. So viewing this is like watching a person's full life story. I have backed up photos and videos I took during my early school days, even during our laboratory experiment hours. I have photos of my friends which they will be happy to see years later how they looked.

My digital time capsule will be such an interesting one, holding a lot of artifacts and memories, not only that but it will a source of motivation to the generation to come not to give up, but keep on grinding, cos my life story and photos will show them a great improvement throughout the years.
