I mostly use mobile data rather than WiFi. I prefer both as far as they serve the purpose of keeping me online. It got to a point where the network decided to frustrate me so badly I decided to get a MiFi. I thought it was going to get better connecting to both my phone and laptop, but within those few days using Airtel, most times the network wasn't stable, and it was selective of the environment. It might work at home but might not work in other places if I decide to head out.
I ended up not using most of the data before it expired.I use Wi-Fi whenever I am privileged to have free ones around my surroundings. When I was in school at the hostel, there was free WiFi, and anyone could easily get the passcode. Even when I left, I occasionally came to the hostel just to enjoy the WiFi, but now it's all gone, and I'm stuck with mobile data, and day by day, there is always an increase in MTN data; even the lowest still has an increase.I usually go for a weekly bundle, which I could serve, and I make sure to finish up the MB before it gets to the expiry date. I'm so cautious of my data, and before it gets finished, I have already purchased some credits and kept them safe.
Most times, when I go for a monthly bundle and it gets finished before the end of the month because I wasn't keeping track of it, I could ask a friend to share a hotspot with me to get data, but now I'm far away from them. I keep a tap on it most times, and I have to put down the date on my notepad. After some days I check the balance, and the MB is so big I won't be able to exhaust it before it gets finished. I will download movies for future use.
I could remember one of the bad experiences I had. I asked one of my colleagues to help me with connecting to his WiFi, which he did, and I was about to get data, but unfortunately he asked me after some days to mine for him to get data too. I did and totally forgot my hotspot was on. It was on for hours, and he was busy using my data to watch TikTok videos.
One of my colleagues announced it, and I immediately checked my phone. Two devices were connected to my hotspot, and it drained my data. I was so mad, and ever since then I've been cautious of people who use my hotspot. After 10 minutes, I turn it off; either I give you excuses that my data has finished so you won't overuse the privilege.

Some people are actually mean. Why use my data to watch TikTok, when I am not doing that myself? It's the fact that they'll now sweep everything under the guise of cruise and friendship. Very annoying people
Very annoying. I learned my lesson and I don't have to wait for you to inform me anymore before I put it off.
I would only expect a child to mindlessly use my hotspot and drain my data. Adults that do that [without permission] are just cruel. You're never going to share with that particular individual anymore...
