In late 2023, Jaime was notified by the Town of Kingsville, Ontaio about the implementation of an AMI SMART water meter program. She was told that her current meter would need to be replaced with a SMART meter, and that this is mandatory. This poses a significant issue for Jaime, who suffers from EMF sensitivities that cause symptoms ranging from mild to severe and she has been diagnosed with two brain lesions, further complicating her condition.
Jaime has been battling the town for over a year to stop the smart meter installation on her property. She has managed to keep the Municipal staff off her property by using the trespass law of Onatrio. Jamie's next step is to take the Town to Superior Court on November 26, 2024, in Windsor. Jaime is seeking to civil to stop the installation using the statutory limitation of bylaws to defeat the Town!
