Coffee, and a coffee shop. But first, let me talk about choices in life. Life is about choices. Choosing what we like and also taking risks from what we like.
Like me who likes to be a freelancer. Not regulated by monotonous working hours that require me to go early in the morning and be stuck in traffic jams on the streets. I just like being myself and making work that I hope will be useful to help other people (at least to produce new ideas that other people haven't realized before). But, the risk might be that I don't have a steady income every month.
This is just a matter of management and the rest is that I really like my life now - which was built with a lot of sacrifice and struggle. Also, my late mom support for all her prayers which made me become as strong as I am now.
I go for coffee without worrying that my boss will scold me for my work which is (always) considered imperfect. (as happened in the past when I worked at a state-owned company). I can enjoy coffee and think about how we can enjoy life without harming others.
As I grow older, I try my best not to harm others. I stand on my own feet and try to have a positive impact on other people around me, especially my family.
So, this time I have a coffee shop with cozy green vibes! A recommended place to visit!
FRED BREW COFFEE HOUSE
It's like sitting in front of your own terrace because it's so comfortable!
The enchanting green ornamental plants made me feel at home for a long time at Fred Brew Coffee House in Medan City.
This place is just a small place located in a busy alley in Medan City. They made the building into two floors.
It was a surprise that on the second floor they could have such large green plants that they could even reach the roof of the building.
Honestly, this is the vibe of my dreams. Has a room to relax, drink coffee and read a book. On the front terrace of the house or the back terrace of the house. With natural lighting from sunlight. And, decorated with green plants.
Unfortunately in my own house, I can't grow green plants like this. I don't have a room with good lighting. And to be honest, when I plant a plant like that in my yard, it will become a target for thieves!
That's why coming to Fred Brew Coffee House can be fun for me. Like seeing my dreams come true.
With the dominance of white in this place, the green plants also look more beautiful. The place looks clean and cool for sure.
Matcha Latte
Hot Matcha Latte is the perfect option for me who is bored with general lattes such as palm sugar latte or vanilla latte.
Matcha contains antioxidants which are also good for the body. Fred Brew Coffee House serves delicious matcha lattes in my opinion. Of course, it's better than the Matcha Latte at Starbucks.
I'm also happy, the Matcha Latte at this place is half the price of the matcha latte at Starbucks 😊 perfect option for me!
Cheese Spongecake
To accompany drinking coffee in this beautiful place, I also ordered cheesecake with a sponge cake variant.
There's a lot of cheese sprinkled on top! Indeed, the price is more expensive than a cup of my coffee. But to be honest, I brought the rest of this cake because this cake is just a big portion.
This cake can serve up to 4 people if we cut it into slices. So, it is a decent price.
As for the taste, it's also delicious 😋 and I don't have anything I would complain about right. The texture is quite moist inside. With quality cheese. With the right taste of cheese and not salty.
Overall, it was about a pleasant coffee experience for me. With a cozy and beautiful place like being in a green space, a clean park.
Also, they have good service. The staff are friendly and make me want to come back there again, that's for sure. ❤️❤️❤️
