Experience drinking coffee in a fresh indoor garden and feeling aesthetic in design.
Do you believe that what you did in the past will attract the same things in the future? For example, if you like gardening, then many things about gardens will come into your life. Or, simply put, you are into jazz music, and your homepage will start to fill up with jazz music without you realizing it.
I always thought that the frequency within me would spread easily. That's why we have a tendency to gather or group based on what we like.
Well, actually I'm quite sure that lately things about gardening, green plants, have appeared in my life. In fact, about coffee shops. :)
This started when my husband and I traveled to the head office to process my husband's work documents. Then, we were annoyed because it turned out that the office had closed early and we felt that our trip was in vain.
The hot day in Medan city at that time was enough to make our emotions quite hot. Well, I also searched on Google Maps for the nearest coffee shop to cool our heads.
Miel Coffee
Finally, we headed to Miel Coffee. There is a funny story about this coffee shop. Several months ago, we passed through the doors of this coffee shop. It's just that, I don't think this door is a cafe.
After I read reviews on Google Maps, I realized that there were many people like me who were fooled by the appearance of that coffee shop. Finally, this time I got closer to the door. The large writing only says "coffee", while Miel Coffee only consists of small writing on the right side.
Excitedly, I entered the coffee shop. Then, I was greeted kindly by the waiters there. Like warmly welcoming an old friend you haven't seen for a long time. :)
I immediately ordered and paid in the bar area. There is no main course here. Only coffee with cakes. So, I chose "white coffee" and "crumble cheese cake".
I will take you to indoor garden vibes in this Miel Coffee. Only small spaces. But it feels cool because there are lots of green plants. With a high ceiling mode, it makes the room feel "relaxing".
Also, a place has been created for light to enter from above the ceiling to make the green plants here grow well.
Place a combination of small plants and large plants. However, all types of plants here are indoor green plants which are easy to care for.
The overall color of the room is dominated by white. The color of the accessories in the room is the natural color of the wood material.
I felt like I was in a small, fresh garden. I chose to sit in the corner of the room and was close to a large "monstera" plant.
In another area of the room, there is a tall plant placed in the middle of the space to create a more natural impression in the room. As if visitors were really in the garden.
Several visitors were seen reading books. This place is really comfortable to relax. However, Miel Coffee's opening hours are only until 5 pm.
White Coffee
My order is white coffee. quite strong but it is suitable to fill my energy during the day. I just love hot coffee even though the weather is hot. Maybe iced coffee just makes my body temperature worse. So, it's better to have a cup of hot coffee. :)
There are two choices of coffee beans offered by the waiter. Balance beans and strong beans. I chose balance beans. Even so, it already feels quite strong.
White coffee from Miel Coffee without sugar really tastes strong. Even though my husband said this coffee was quite bitter so he only ordered iced chocolate :D
Another thing I appreciated was that they also served a glass of water. So, make sure we drink water first before drinking coffee to neutralize the body. :)
It feels quite satisfying to enjoy a cup of coffee in this beautiful garden vibes coffee shop.
Crumble Cheesecake
I think this type of cheesecake is quite popular these days. With cheesecake that is soft but also firm. With crumble on top that tastes like caramel.
Oh, when I scooped up a slice of cheesecake and put it in my mouth, I felt it was heavenly good!
The good news is that this delicious cake is perfect for complementing strong coffee. So, what is your favorite combination of coffee and cake?

Imagine if the waiters bringing your orders were all dressed as trees, it would fit the concept haha. This place looks great, chef. It fits the term "in touch with nature".
the waiters just wear white and green aprons. but yeah the apron looks suit :P
This is beautiful, there is one cafe in Cebu that has an plants on the inside. This is really refreshing and it is worth visiting.
