First impressions always make the heart flutter, like first love always has an impression. Whether it's a good impression or a bad impression, but the first impression always has its own meaning.
That sentence was the first sentence that made me fall in love with a cup of coffee. The good impression from the first cup of black coffee I drank, when my brain and heart were in sync, said that coffee had a delicious bitter taste and a pervasive fragrance. The first time I drank coffee I was just 12 years old, sipped my mother's cup of coffee, I drank it quietly, at that time my mother did not know that I had stained the glass.
The coffee was so good, my mother never made me coffee, she said she couldn't and she didn't have more information about the benefits and harms of coffee for a 12 year old teenager. You know, at that time there was still no internet as sophisticated as now, if there was it would have been very expensive and my mother didn't know how to use the internet at that time.
Almost every morning I drank my mother's coffee, until the time I was caught and my mother looked angry on her face, but did not scold me, at that time I was afraid that I would not be able to drink coffee. My mother asked me if after drinking coffee my stomach didn't hurt? I replied, NO, in fact I'm fine and relieved. Finally, at that time I was allowed to drink coffee with a note only a cup every morning or evening after eating. Afraid it would affect my digestion and I failed to go to school.
My mother was the one who first taught me about coffee. Because of that, I understood the taste of coffee, even though at that time I only drank coffee sachets with too much sugar. Unfortunately, nowadays quality coffee sachets are hard to find, for a gerd sufferer like me, specialty coffee that I can drink. In fact, plus there is a history of diabetes, sugar intake must be controlled properly, no coffee with milk or sugar, not even frapped or whipped cream as a topping on my coffee cup.
Now, to sip a cup of coffee, only made from 100% pure coffee and hot water, may be added with a little ice cube, usually americano, v60, specialty and espresso, without sugar. So that I can live a healthier life, natural sugar from the content of coffee beans. Looking for coffee like this, I have to go to a coffee shop, so I can enjoy good coffee from the hands of the barista.
One of the very nice things is, I found good coffee here. In addition, this coffee shop is very spacious, interesting and has characteristics. Tuesday Communa, a coffee shop located in the middle of the city, but still in a quiet location because it is far from the highway. Located on Jalan Mayjen DI Panjaitan, has a good rating on google reviews, 4.5 stars. Stating that this is a coffee shop that can be used as a coffee shop reference that must be visited. Tuesday communa, a warm and relaxed coffee shop, without the hustle, bustle and crowd. That was the impression I got the first time I visited it.
I took the time to work with my husband, we chose to sit indoors, because the weather outside was too warm and might make my head hurt, without a shade umbrella. Indoors, it feels cool and cool. In the indoor room, there are only 2 tables, luckily we got the right table and chairs.
When ordering coffee, I choose americano with ice cube, to increase my enthusiasm for work. They only have one kind of coffee beans, I can't choose what coffee beans I want. I leave everything to the barista, it seems the barista is still very young. He nimbly made our order, it came within 15 minutes.
My Americano came with a smile as the barista walked over to our table, my first time drinking the Americano version of Tuesday communa. It tastes good, not too bitter, there is a little sweetness from the coffee, and a slightly sour taste that doesn't bother me. It has a slightly floral scent, like marqisa or citrus. It feels right on my tongue, even I like to sip my coffee cup. It didn't feel like half an hour was up, usually I'm slow to drink coffee, but this is like drinking tea with a floral scent.
Surprisingly, the price of a cup of americano with ice is only 22,000 rupiah, quite cheap from other coffee shops in general which cost 25,000 rupiah - 30,000 rupiah. Enough to make me happy to be here, I think I will come back again, because it is suitable as a workspace that is not too noisy and crowded. Maybe in addition, they should widen the indoor space, because there are too few places for visitors who don't want to be outdoors.
