The Best of the Beanies, in no particular order - they were all so good!
Coffee does not understand climates, only pleasure.

☕️ "Although the heat can be overwhelming at times, hot coffee is our way of combating it. The oral tradition of our people warns us that this is because hot coffee acclimatizes us and makes us connect with the temperature of the environment. Unlike cold beverages, which, by opposing the temperature of the environment, tend to be somewhat violent and fail to fully satiate our bodies." @aly.squid
A coffee under the rain

☕️ "We were in a cultural activity where poetry and music were split. A wonderful afternoon that closed with the brooch of gold that provided us with rain and coffee.
After leaving the Writers Association we had decided to take a walk through the city but the rain decided to change our plans and advance a cup of coffee that we would share among friends to heat our bodies and our souls." @maylink
MY IDEAL REFUGE: COFFEE, RAIN AND A GOOD COMPLEMENTARY BOOK

☕️ "It is an ideal moment to pause in my busy life, coffee makes my experience something phenomenal, its bitter but pleasant taste empowers me and keeps me active with the swaying of each page read, for many rainy days mean laziness and even the desire to sleep, I particularly make this moment my perfect refuge where I create a bridge between my world of introspection and the outside." @sidalim88
Seasonal Coffee Time

☕️ "Coffee in the rain.
We just concluded the Harmattan season not long ago. And the next season upon us is the rainy season. Though during harmattan we witness cold weather it’s always so dry and sometimes so hot during the day, but for the rainy season? It's at times cold but the weather in the atmosphere is always so cool. That's the difference between the harmattan and rainy times." @abdul-qudus
Misty afternoons

☕️ "On rainy afternoons, the fog and the cold would also roll in, and my children and I would stay in bed, talking all kinds of nonsense.
But my mother always had other plans in mind. At those times she was provoked to play bingo. Then she would apply the old childhood formula to get us all out of bed. She would call us to the table where she had already served some delicious slices of cake with big cups of hot coffee." @irvinc
When it rains

☕️ "Sitting on the porch wasn't something my mother approved of. To her, it was like people might think we were spying on our neighbours; it was “bad manners.” Our porch was for occasional or unexpected visitors, or a place to sit for a while when it was too hot inside the house, also a place to hang out while we had our afternoon coffee." @marlyncabrera
Coffee brings friends together.

☕️"I know an old man who has a habit of having his first coffee travelling through your stories and now every morning he looks for new stories... I already told myself that if there are no stories, I'm going to give up the habit of morning coffee..." @iriswrite

Amazing stories!!@marlyncabrera's piece about coffee bringing friends together really struck a chord. What's everyone's favorite way to enjoy coffee on a rainy day?
