For this reason, all spheres of society have been affected, especially food, which is why coffee, which is one of the essential products for Cubans, is in danger of extinction.

En estos momentos mi país (Cuba) se está viviendo una severa crisis económica debido, en parte, al embargo económico impuesto por Estados Unidos, a la mala administración del Gobierno Cubano y miembros inescrupulosos de la sociedad que han sabido sacar ventaja de la lamentable situación. Por ello se han afectado todas las esferas de la sociedad especialmente la alimentación, por lo que el café, quien constituye uno de los productos indispensables para los cubanos, esté en peligro de extinción.

Every month in the family basket they gave those of us over 7 years old a package of nationally produced "Hello" coffee with 50% coffee and 50% peas; but due to the growing financial crisis 3 months ago they did not give us this product. There is also a shortage of coffee on the black market and in stores and they are at an extremely high price compared to the salary of most Cubans.

Todos los meses en la canasta familiar nos daban a los mayores de 7 años un paquete de café "Hola" de producción nacional con 50% de café y 50% de chícharos; pero debido a la creciente crisis financiera hace 3 meses no nos dan dicho producto. En el mercado negro y en las tiendas también hay escasez de café y están a un precio sumamente elevado en comparación con el salario de la mayoría de los cubanos.

Thanks to my girlfriend's mother and grandmother (@dianegr) who gave me gifts, I have not supported myself by drinking coffee regularly and my aunt who also shares with me. Sometimes when they give me coffee from the store I have to mix it with "Hello" (when it appears in the informal market) so that it has a stronger flavor because the ones from the store taste light.

Gracias a la mamá y a la abuela de mi novia (@dianegr) que me regalan no me he mantenido tomando café regularmente y mi tía que también comparte conmigo. A veces cuando me regalan café de la tienda tengo que mezclarlo con el "Hola" (cuando aparece en el mercado informal) para que tenga un sabor más fuerte porque los de la tienda saben ligero.
