Newly found coffee

in Cinnamon Cup Coffee2 days ago (edited)

While scrolling online I came across a coffee recipe that was described as warm, spicy, and comforting, Turmeric Coffee (Curcumin Coffee).
Turmeric coffee is a healthy beverage where turmeric and other spices come together to create a unique cup of coffee. It’s not only flavorful but contains lots of health benefits.
The coffee contained ingredients I never expected to be included in a cup of coffee, here in my country we're so used to having instant coffee with just milk and Sugar, so I decided to try this one out.

Turmeric (curcumin coffee) is very healthy coffee drink where turmeric and a few other spices are added to the cup

The ingredients involved in this coffee was:

  • 1 Teaspoon Ginger
  • 1 Teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 Teaspoon Turmeric
  • 1 Teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Black coffee powder

It is a also advised to add a little cinnamon to it but in my case there was no cinnamon so I made do with what I had. But the combination I did was so cool.
I mixed all the ingredients I had in my cup and added my hot water to it. The coffee is best taken hot.

The turmeric coffee mix has a really nice spicy kick, and it gives the coffee a very nice earthy flavor. The first sip is amazing!

Although you can choose to drink a cup of this type of coffee all year round, I think it is very good during winter. This coffee warms the body and prevents cough, colds and flu.

Turmeric coffee isn’t just about taste; it’s a powerhouse of health benefi

Yes this coffee wasn't as sweet as the creamer coffee I used to, but it was quite delicious and my joy is that is very healthy to the body.

I enjoy having coffee in my own even though most people here have become sentimental about coffee, that coffee only makes you thin, raises your BP bla bla bla, but I guess they should try this curcumin coffee for it's health benefits.

Something I've really looked for and not found is a coffee shop in my city, if I see I'd like to visit one and see how they work, and maybe see if they also sell this curcumin coffee.

I'm really happy to experiment this type os coffee, while it may not have the sweetness of creamer coffee, its earthy flavor and numerous health benefits make it a worthwhile to drink.

There's so much versatility in coffee and it is moving beyond the traditional milk-and-sugar approach. I hope more people here can look past the common misconceptions about coffee and explore options like turmeric coffee for a healthier and flavorful alternative.

Thank you all for your time here!

Hey Madilyn,
This is an interesting post. However, we're not fond of posts that have any medical claims, without a source.

Turmeric is anti-inflammatory and boosts immunity.
Ginger aids digestion and adds a zesty flavour.
Black pepper enhances the absorption of curcumin, the active ingredient in turmeric.

I suggest you remove it or add a source because that's common information from the internet.

Well, I didn't copy it from the Internet. But I've removed it, thank you for telling me.

Looks delicious...it's definitely a coffee to keep you awake. Thanks for sharing

Coffee with curcuma is a delight. There are several studies that can be found on the internet about the benefits of curcuma. I know someone who did his thesis on that subject.
