Let me tell you all about this shocking incident that happened to me one day.
That morning, I had woken up feeling great and relaxed. My body felt good, my belly was cool. I decided to start my day the proper way, by brewing up a steaming mug of my favorite Kona blend coffee. As you all know, that kind of coffee has a better aroma and better taste than many other blends!
I poured the hot coffee into my special ceramic mug that my sister made for me. That mug has a colorful dragonfly drawn on it that I really love. As the coffee aroma wafted towards me, I prepared to leisurely sip and thoroughly enjoy it!
So I stood up, ready to take my coffee over to my corner to start some work for the day. But then disaster struck! As I was walking to the table, I stumbled like a madman! What had happened?
It was a maneki neko lucky cat statue that I have on the balcony, which was somehow on the floor blocking my way! I must have kicked it as I walked, making me stumble. It was some silly person who had left the balcony door open the previous day, without a care in the world.
As I kicked the maneki neko statue, that's when it happened! Before I could say "wait a minute", I was already doing a 360 ballet turn, trying to rebalance my body from falling! That's when I went and splashed the entire mug of piping hot coffee everywhere, what a huge mess!
The hot coffee splashed on the walls, ceiling, curtains - there was hardly any area it didn't touch! As I waved my hands like Michael Jackson, the scalding coffee even rained back down onto my head like a torrent! And that's how I ended up stumbling and falling right into the middle of the hot spill mess, with no choice at all!
My goodness! The pain that coffee inflicted on my body is what made me start shouting like I was possessed! "Arghh! This is so hot!! Ayhh! Too much!!" I was rolling all over the floor like a slaughtered chicken!
When the mess finally cooled down a bit, I looked at my body and oh no! It was redder than smoked fish! I had sustained serious burn wounds, from head to toe! The burns were so severe that I had to go to the emergency room that day to get treated properly!
Listen to me carefully - any other coffee spill you all may have witnessed before, just forget about it! This was the absolute worst coffee catastrophe to ever happen in this world at all! If you had been there when it happened, you would have cried a wet towel! It was like someone poured a cup of molten hot lava all over my living room, that's how it splashed everywhere!
So please always be very very careful when pouring any hot liquids; And don't be like some people who just leave the door open anyhow for strangers to wander in. This is reality, no lie! I'm cautioning those who will listen, so that you don't suffer like I suffered that day.

Lol the fact that I literally imagined this and laughed so hard is so funny, sorry about the incident though. Hope the injuries did not leave any scar?

Wow it looks like you didn't spill a cup of coffee but more like a whole tub.
Hot liquid burns are very painful, it happened to me last weekend that the tip of my thumb was burned with boiling water, that day I had to work and I felt almost disabled in that hand, I formed a very painful blister.
One just have to be careful
Eiii... So sorry you had to go through that. I experienced that. I was frying something and the oil splashed on my chest, leaving the spot scalded. I can relate. Its a good thing you went to get treated properly. Do take good care of yourself.
