AMERICANO BEER - Baristro Asian Style

My cafe hopping journey has been so far so great! Thanks to Chiang Mai and its hundreds cafes around. It's never get boring here in term of coffee, dessert, cafes and restaurant. Today I'm bringing you to this one unique coffee shop and matcha bar! Yes!! Matcha bar too. Baristro Asian Style! A cute Japanese-theme spacious cafe that's good to hang, to chill or to stay all day to work. It's just lovely so let's dive right in.

Baristro Asian Style

There are a few Baristro branches around Chiang Mai. They're quite well known because they're legit and serious of what they do. Different locations offer different vibes and feels. Some of the locations, besides coffee, they got matcha bar serving matcha drinks and matcha dessert. Seriously, how does all this sound so far? I mean, I'm excited just thinking and writing about all this because I really love the brand!

Baristro Asian Style is one of the locations they got. A friend brought me there and I was surprised when I arrived first time. It's like the whole different world. The place is hidden up hill closed to Chiang Mai university. Very spacious with a few different areas like the matcha bar, the back garden with bamboos surrounded (so green, I love it!), the coffee shop, and the working space in a separate building (very comfy!) so you pick whichever suit your cup of tea best.

I personally like chilling and working at the matcha bar just to have the motion in front but sometimes when I really need to focus, the co-working space in the separate building is pretty neat.

I love coffee and I could do it everyday. Though, if you're like me, sometimes, switching it up is kinda needed. It can't always be a regular americano or espresso or latte.. This is where the specialty drinks come in. Baristro Asian Style offers a bunch of interesting looking coffee and none coffee drinks. I'm an americano fan and it's just so so so interesting to me that they have this 'Americano beer' on the menu. A regular cold americano topped with whipped cream cheese. It's recommended to drink straight from the cup so you can take both things in all at once. Yum!

A friend got a cup of mocha and the way it's served was just incredibly cute. There's a dripping chocolate on the rim. They do this with a few different drinks and honestly, make the drinks look so much fancier and cuter.

As mentioned, at a few of the Baristro Asian Style locations, they offer matcha bar serving all kinds of matcha specialty. Baristro Asian Style is one of them and the other one is Baristro by Guu Roti not so far out of the old city.

There are a few different types of matcha from different regions in Japan and different ways of serving from hot to cold and else. I got a set of cold matcha with matcha crepe cake one time. I'm not quite sure if I'm 100% into the crepe cake as it's super creamy and it's almost too much cream. Taste great tho! The matcha is also very rich and intense. I think that's a good thing and I sure love it.

Coming here just to see how they prepare and make the drinks at the matcha bar would just be so worth it for the visit already.

I would sure be back a few more times during my stay here in Chiang Mai. Still want to try a lot of their fancy looking drinks just to swap it up with the regulars coffee sometimes. It sure a great change. I would also recommend friends and family if they ever come visit Chiang Mai because this is really a place I found it special!
