I cannot express enough how exciting it was for me to experience this landscape. While in Zermatt I visited the Mount Matterhorn, thankfully it was a bright sunny morning and turned out to be the best weather that I could ask for to visit this peak. Mount Matterhorn is a famous place to visit in Zermatt. It is 4,478 meters above sea level and gives the most stunning panoramic view. But guys I am not going to write about Matterhorn today, I will share that in the following blogs. Today I am going to share the fun that I had at the top.
When my son saw our pictures he said, mom, you and dad have become kids in this place and it literally was like that. We do not get to see snow in the place we live, so it is very overwhelming for us and the climate was so good that we had the best time. Many years ago, I had visited Jungfrau, it was a nice experience but the fun was not as much as this one. I found more ice here and a bigger area to explore also on this peak.

Beauty to be admired. I was totally in awe of this place. White snow spread out all over. From below I could see the mountains partly covered with snow, I was thinking of seeing the same scene reaching up, but here it was totally different, everything was covered in snow.
And Yoga time, my foot was totally in the snow, it really needed a good level of balance.
I am sure you can sense the fun that I am experiencing
The clouds and the snow, all white and looks so divine. Place looks nothing less than a heaven
What I see all the time when I am flying in the aircraft, now I see it here so up close. I wish I could hold that fluffiness in my hands :-)
A little time in meditation is required in an environment as pure as this. Not to be missed

That's the Matterhorn Peak. It's a perfect pyramid shape peak. Rather on the peak there is very little ice.
Mission accomplished
This is hubby's favorite pose, whenever we go to any landmark destination a titanic pose is a must...hehe. Our friends always make fun of us on this, but for us it's a sweet memory.

Oh wow, the place looks so divine! I love how the cloud merges with the snow to create a continuum of whiteness in the pictures. The clear blue sky is alive! Being this high up covered with white will make for a great meditation experience :)

It is absolutely divine, the whole scenery, I just did not want to take my eyes off it.
It's really a heaven. Matterhorn ,Germatt! How beautiful the place is!! Pictures say that you have enjoyed it very much.
My visit to Darjeeling was good but I could not see ice there. If I had gone there a month later or so, it would be frozen everywhere. I missed it. 😅
I love Darjelling as well, I have been there twice and that was long time back, the sunrise point, I can never forget that sight, the first rays of the Sun on the Himalyas is breathtaking. The thing is that even India has such wonderful places, but the infrastructure is still poor.

Snow is wonderful, but I worry if you were not cold there?:) You don't have warm enough boots and clothes:)
Hehe.....yes so unlikely na, I am all the time on these barren mountains here in Oman and this is a complete contrast.
About the cold, no I was not feeling, rather I had to remove one layer because the sun was so bright that I was feeling suffocated with so much clothing. It was a nice sunny day and weather was just perfect to enjoy.
