Another week has passed, and then a new week emerged and it already going super fast, it is time also for me to make my entry for the contest. For this week's macro contest, I have this land snail that I don't really find very open lurking around my house. I am not very sure how they could come and stay around my house, and I only noticed them when I wanted to try to photograph a spider that was running around, and then when I moved the polybag for my plant, I noticed them hiding below the polybag.
Of course, since they don't move very fast I could come back again to photograph them after I finished chasing the spider. And yes, since the spider was gone, then I had some time to photograph this snail.
Look at its eyes below, they look so cute, isn't it? with its very long shell, orange to golden color at the front, and black to the back side of the shell. I am not so sure how long the body curls into the shell, maybe hallway though, or maybe full to the back of the shell.
I have tried to search for the info about this snail, but as far as I can get is that this snail might be Opeas-pyrgula or sharp awlsnail, but unfortunately, there is not much info about this species online, not even on Wikipedia. But I hope you like the photos of this beautiful little snail.

Awesome snail, it's pretty cool how it's lifting its butt in the air like that! Seems like it would be heavy lol
haha, that might be the case, too heavy for its butt muscle to handle.
👏 Keep Up the good work on Hive ♦️ 👏

Its color combination looks different from other more common snails. Maybe, it's a rare one that's why there's not much info about it on the internet. Amazing shots, as always :)
thank you so much my friend. So happy that you like it.
Yesh, I am not really sure why, but I guess there is not many studies that has been conducted for this snail, or maybe not on the internet just yet.
Right, that's probably the case. I'll say they look more beautiful than the common snails :)
You're most welcome!
