Back in Summer 2007 I visited Corse in France for 2 weeks as a holiday with my family. It was a really nice experience and beside swimming in the Mediterranean Sea we also did a lot of hiking there and some sightseeing. It was one of the last holidays I did together with my brother and my stepbrothers and I can still remember I had a really great time there. I had my old digital camera with me and already there I was into photography (this was nearly 20 years ago), this topic was interesting for me since day one and I am happy that I can reexperience some of my Trips that I did back then with the help of these pictures. They always remind me of good times.
This is probably also one of the reasons why I like photography so much, thinking back to the good times and expierience them once again through the pictures. The second picture here shows a Cork tree, without the picture I probably wouldn't remember that I saw it there but the picture allows me somehow to go back in time and think about it.

Then I also have some kinde of addiction to collect certain things, coins, stamps and also these pictures here. For every trip I created a nice folder with year and additional information and sometimes I enjoy browsing through all these pictures as you might already know since you get to see some of these pictures here nearly every day. I get some kind of nostalgic feeling and since most of the times when I took pictures it was a great day and something special happened It also gives me happy thoughts. So you can see this as some kind of therapy for myself. :-)
