Drawing "Danny Phantom"| Creative Sunday

Are you a 2000's kid?
If so, then I bet you have definitely watched Nickelodeon.
There were many cartoons which are famous even now like Avatar: the last air bender and Kung fu Panda etc. But there was this show which just randomly struck my mind today so I just thought to recreate one of its posters I found on Google.

Materials

The medium I used is watercolour, and made it over a page that took out of my sketchbook. Sketchbook was quite large so I just sneaked a piece from it and pasted it over the journal 🤭. I used pointers of 0.1 and 0.3 sizes for outlines. They are waterproof, so no need to worry about smudges (and I love that).

So let's start recreating it:

I started with a sketch ( i literally forgot when I last time sharpened my pencil, it's lead got thicker lol)

Then I outlined it. For main outer lines I used a thicker pointer and for the inner lines relatively thinner pointer was used. ( Just pardon my writing it's so bad🤧)

Then I used the the base colors, the ones which were visible through the highlight.

At first black color disappointed me, because it looked so dull, so just waited for it to dry. (And trusted the process, ofcourse)

Then I just continued painting one part after another, but scariest part was colouring the eyes, because if color of eyes doesn't go as the per shape, it changes everything.

At last, I pasted it in my journal!😇
